Texture/geometry flickering. New bug or what?

    Hello!

Since Elsweyr was released, I've played very bit. However, I have been testing Craglorn and I don't have had any flickering issue. These previous days, I have been playing with intensity in this zone and none issues. Well, till today. I could observed a bit of flickering (dissapeared in less than a second), but nothing seious and annoy like before of the release of Elsweyr.

I want to know what is your experience after the release of Elsweyr. Less flickering? More flickering? or still the same?

Different. Less flickering, way more random disappearing stuff.

Er.... wow. I don't have this at all. Anywhere. And since I'm on satellite.... well, you'd figure it would be worse for me than anyone, wouldn't you?

I wonder if having a slower connection mitigates the issue. Did you ever get the teleporting enemies bug?

I've noticed that dead enemies have a bit of a flicker and moment of desync before they seem to resolve now and become lootable, almost as if the game client is forcing a communication with the server. It's really weird, and feels a lot like Elden Root's vanishing and reappearance.

I don't know how to explain it, but the timing and pacing of the process feels the same. *shrug* Words are hard :D

No, never have the teleporting enemies bug. Of course, since I posted the post you quoted, I've got much better faster satellite....

I was in Craglorn for a couple of hours yesterday - no flickering....

Have been getting flickering in Craglorn for a while. Cyrodiil is even worse, some areas are close to unplayable.

Was in Craglorn today briefly on a survey report quest, and flickering was still there.

Today's patch (5.6.1) seems to have introduced more graphics bugs for me - western road in Elseweyr is blurry, with no surface features and creatures seem to be standing slightly below the surface. First time this has ever happened in Elseweyr for me.

Ugh, didn't notice this was a necro :s If I'm on my tablet, I usually have the page zoomed in so the date isn't visible *headdesk* Sorry lol

The thread is old, but the bug is not entirely gone, so don't feel too bad about it.

The game is full of bugs ZOS refuses to even acknowledge.

Did ESO devs were on Fallout 76 before?

I too first started experiencing geometry flickering in Craglorn, and it gets rather bad. I'm also starting to notice it in a few other areas as well, but it isn't nearly as bad anywhere else as Craglorn.

This is bad news, as it shows ESO Devs are ignoring bugs in favor of new content.

I've been subbed here for 3 years and I would hate to leave this game because the state of bug-fixing is being ignored.

Maybe I'm lucky but in 5 years of the game I have never had any of these issues and I have yet to see anything like this. Not saying it isn't happening but I've yet to see proof for my own eyes.

Saw it the other day when I was chasing surveys in Craglorn. It's got to be some quirk with specific graphics card hardware, still incredibly unsettling.
