Jimmy_The_Fixer✭✭✭✭✭Because overload has an incredibly obvious animation before you even cast the spell and then it's a huge, slow projectile that does crazy damage. People don't want to take massive damage so they are dodge rolling your overloads.2 -

✭✭✭✭I don't mean the dodging.. I mean the amount of time it simply shoots way off to the side not hitting a thing, or decides to aim at a completely different target, not even close to the one you just cursed/caged(often out of range) or stutters and simply refuses to fire...

It's a potatoe cannon. Sure if you shoot someone new to PvP point blank in the face who has no resistance its strong. OP with all its downsides it's not.

✭✭Because every ability that is a channel or has a channeled component has been behaving that same exact way since Summerset PTS and ZOS has not fixed it. It gets even "better" when you are fighting someone with a lot of movement speed. Lightning staff, resto staff, overload, jabs/sweep, flurry are simply buggy. It either doesn't work or targets outside of your field of vision constantly. Outside of abilities with channels only two others skills I've seen do this as well: Leap and uppercut (which might be why no one is using it ROFL). Honestly, before balancing anything they need to fix these combat bugs first...I wouldn't slot any channeled ability in PvP at this time.0 -

✭✭✭✭It's not an overload exclusive thing. It's a 'feature' of their broken targeting system.
I've had projectiles fire almost 180 out, even though the thing the size of a building is directly in front of me and tab targeted.Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...
Earn it.
IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.I am neither warm, nor fuzzy...
Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS1 -

Time to copy past one of my previous comment once again:
Power Overload
-Change it, so you could still do your rotation and swap bar, and each light attack with a weapon would consume ultimates and deal additional damage ( like elemental weapons) until you run out or toggle off the ultimate, or make it deplete ultimate every 2 sec, so it only work with a good weaving.
Charge your fists weapons with the power of the storm, Light attacks become Lightning bolts dealing X additional damage, and your heavy attacks blast enemies in target area near the target for X additional damage. Both attacks restores 300 magicka ( this would help with sustain a bit ) Attacks deplete Ultimate until you run out or the ability is toggled off. you can not gain ultimate while using this ultimate.
Energy Overload
- Keep it as it is " Charge your fists ect..." but reduce the damage, and reduce the time travel ( = faster )
- Or Make The auditive clue more noticeable, you know, something that you can not miss, like the old jorvuld sound (but for the storm). if you don't pay attention to it you would deserve to be ganked. This would be fair.0 -
