Are you doing trials with PUGs? That's the worst way to go, truly. PUGs aren't always awful and I've experienced very pleasant ones.
But trials require more coordination and planning than a group of strangers can have. Unless someone's making a TS3 or discord server for PUGs each trial, there's a huge lack of communication which causes problems in battle and with mechanics, and then that leads to people blaming each other for something going wrong.
I highly recommend doing trials with a guild of people you know, unless you really, REALLY need gear and said guild isn't doing trials all the time.
Think I'm the only person who genuinely thinks trials are boring.
Just a button mashing rotation fest, move out the red circles, stand on that side, bash this guy etc
Repetitive, boring.

Trial end game players when taken out of there core groups turn into toxic players
Don't blame the "meta" when you're underperforming. You can do 40~45k dps on the dummy with non-meta stuff. Too many people play DD without realizing that their job is pulling off as much as damage and dying as less as possible. But now and then, you have a stamina "DD" who blames the "meta" why he is pulling off 10k dps with his "unique" bow+1H&S "Gladiator Build"Trials are toxic regardless if it's pug or guild. Go forbid if you have non-meta build or do less damage than "limit" dps.
