Doesnt have be used same way in group play or PvP, but what skills do you like to use ? Do like to snipe to your hearts content or are you secretly like me and love crystal blast?
How do you enjoy skills in solo play?
How do enjoy them when questing?
How do you enjoy them group play?

    Ummm, the ones you like? The ones that come in handy for what you are doing? I suppose it depends on what you are doing, and why (leveling, farming, exploring, questing, etc..). Also, whether you are RP'ing or not. Preferred skills depend on what you are doing.

    It's simple about what skills you like for questing or just see the animation. It's a subjective question that depends on person. So what skills simply make you happy?

    Crystal Fragments is quite fun, though I wish I had a bit more to do with the proc. There's no reason whatsoever to hard cast it - I wish it had some qualities that were lost when it became instant so it was more of a decision. Such as having the hard casted damage be higher, and then the instant cast getting a dmg nerf instead of a buff (so it'd be same damage, but now it might possibly be worth hard casting it).

    I really enjoy layering the ele wall from the destro staff line with liquid lightning, then heavy attacking. It makes for a really nice zone of death during pve wandering (pretty much any scenario - I also do this while healing dungeons for extra dmg).

    Steak/BoL is very nice if I'm delving and can't be bothered to kill all the trash between me and whatever it is I'm in there for.

    Sometimes I slot the Twilight Matriarch if I'm doing a bounty thingy so I can spam it if I notice a nearby player low on health or a dungeon - it's nice to be able to slot one heal and the rest damage skills so I can mash stuff and heal if needed. Doesn't work in the harder dungeons of course, but in your typical vet pledge it's enough. Otherwise I just run the usual frags/shield/aoe/magelight, backbar streak/crit surge/other stuff for open world pve. Crit surge is a wonderful thing.

    I love slamming down Blockade.......there's something satisfying about banging my staff on the ground like that. Plus it procs my armor (Mad Tinkerer's) and my monster set which melts the enemies.

    1) Pets, specifically permanent summons! It's fun to have "allies" with you even when you're solo playing. I really wish there were more stamina pet options because I would love to play as stamina warden with a team of summons (bear, wolf, hawk, etc). That would really make for a run ranger-style build with a bow.

    2) Dragon Leap looks so amazing and feels great to use. It's one of the few times a character actually feels powerful.

    3) Binding Javelin because it looks fantastic and pairs so beautifully with a bow. Tag an enemy with a dot, and then send them flying backwards while the dot eats away at them.

    4) Shadowy Disguise because it's one of those skills that actually feels like I'm playing a class designed for something specific (sneaking). I tend to gravitate towards stamina builds, but the classes often don't feel different enough from one another to have a distinct feeling as far as stamina is concerned.

    I also wanted to mention that this would be an awesome thread for Wrobel to check out, and one that he might enjoy.

    There was an ESO Live episode from a couple years ago where I remember him saying (if memory serves) something about how skills were initially designed in a way where he was told to just make fun, awesome skills for skill lines, and they progressed from there.

    Perhaps he would garner some pleasure from seeing which skills make players the happiest.

    Power Lash - especially when it finishes the enemy off in a spectacular disintegration.

    Dragon Leap - it's like casting Meteor, but using yourself to create impact :)

    Warden beastsplosion combos. Bird>Shalk>gapclose into Ultimate. Feels badarse.

    Binding Javelin for Templars feels just right. Fire staff knockback is also satisfying.

    Honorable mention-stamsorc disintegrations from Hurricane.

    Veteran players have been alienated and disengaged from Overland since One Tamriel, due to the lack of difficulty, and pushed into dungeons and trials; the minority of content in the Elder Scrolls Online. We can't take the repetition anymore, fix Overland engagement for Vet players. I don't even care if it's not combat related anymore, just make Overland engaging again.
    ---
    Overland difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 6 paid expansions. 25 DLCs. 41 game changing updates including One Tamriel, an overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver & Gold as a "you think you do but you don't" - tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the game. I'm bored of dungeons, I'm bored of trials; make a personal difficulty slider for overland. Make a self debuff mythic. Literally anything at this point.

    I love all the Dawn's Wrath skills for the templar. Almost all of them are based off of space-themed stuff, and I love it.
    Also the Stormcalling skills for sorcs. Really captures the thunderous and flashy essence of them. Since my sorc is an Argonian, it's like she's become one of the fiersome Wamasu.

    The Whip.

    Everything else doesn't even appear on the list.

    On a more serious note tho:

    - Pretty much all they fiery, poisons and draconic-like skills for the Dragonknight; I wish Fiery Breath and relative morphs could have a larger conal area. Igneous Shield and all AoEs are really satisfying to use. The look and feel of Spiked Armor is amazing. The Leap is just the best Ultimate to use in terms of how much powerful you feel when you use it. But the whip can't be beaten oh my, the sound, the damage.

    - I like the jabbing game of the templar in PvE, I really enjoy playing stamplar I'd say is the class I like to play the most besides stamina DK in PvE. In PvP is another story however, it's really difficult to land and unless you're not fighting someone who's totally unprepared and unable to counter it, it doesn't feel powerful at all. The rest of the templar skill line feels a little clunky to use tbh, of them all, Sun Fire and morphs feel satisfying to use even when they miss despite I'm not so into the whole "powerful purifying warrior" playstyle

    - For sorcerers I have to say that the Crystal Frag insta-proc feels really rewarding to use and I've really hated the heavy attack meta. I used pets because they were an easy playstyle and granted you a lot of damage but generally I don't find them fun nor satisfying to use ( even tho the familiar AoE attack is not bad, I have to admit ). Light Form and morphs feels good and I really like the stamina morph. The execution and the Curse explosions are really cool. Makes you feel like you are a force of nature that had to be dealt with;

    - I hate nightblades lol. I enjoy more the magicka counterpart to be honest, the spectral bow feels very rewarding, the execution not so much. Both the sound and the animation doesn't feel powerful at all.

    - The Warden is meh all over the line. I think I pick all the skills mainly because they're efficient and perform well, If I had to choose strictkly in the Warden toolkit based on how much I enjoy using those skills, I'd say I'd only slot Scorch ( even if the casting animation feels reeeeally clunky ) and Swarm. Everything else just doesn't feel right, the combination between Icy things and forestal-animal spirit type of aesthetics just makes me confuse about what I have active and what is not.

    Other skills interesting to use:

    - I always like to pop an Aggressive Horn, favorite support Ultimate to use;
    - Dawnbreaker feels really good to use and so does Meteor. AoE big direct damage, they actually feel like an ultimate move;
    - The Psijic Order skills they look good but it's sad you don't get a sinergy out of it, that would increase the feeling of support and utility;
    - Talking about the Psijic Order skills, the spammable looks cool on two handed weapons, not so much on DW. The sound effect also is a bit awkward, doesn't sound like you're tearing time and space and infusing your weapon with extra power. More like you fed poisoned food to your weapons and now they're having stomach issues;
    - Stampede, Executoner, Rally / Forward Momentum are all compelling, but Cleave and Dizzlying Swing are clunky and can actually make you lose momentum. Berserker Strike looks and feel like you're about to nuclear strike someone, too bad the skills is not that viable;
    - All DW skills look and feel good but Hidden Dagger. It just doesn't feel like you're throwing a knife, more like you're trying to kill a mosquito or throwing a playing card during a magick trick;

    Twilight Matriarch, I wouldn't be a healing conjurer as I am in any other TES game if it were not for her!

    Mend Wounds, really makes combat more interesting, not just another "cast and forget", but one that modifies my regular attacks. Light attacks are proactive, heavy attacks are reactive! Providing major resistance buffs (when morphed) makes for a good support buff too.

    Healing Orbs, beautiful animation and nice mobile aoe heal that is unique. Seeing people pop the Orbs for the heal and resource gain makes me feel like I am contributing to the team. I call these guys my little will-o-the-wisps, in TES IV Oblivion, Azura's shrine quest involves these, and with the Winged Twilight this brings back memories of past games. I feel like a healing protector of the daedric prince Azura.

    DK: For pve mobs, talons + deep breath is great. Otherwise Whip and Leap. Whip is very satisfying.
    Sorc: Overload. I used to love frags, but now it feels like you throw a summoned rock and someone's head and nothing happens.
    Templar: I got nothing here. I feel like vamp bane should hit HARD.
    NB: Cloak + Concealed Weapon + Blur -- buh bye.

    I *want* to like Undo but the camera wobbles all over the place and it's disorienting. it's not clean like Shade.

    Nostalgia: Magicka trapping webs. Magicka Dawnbreaker.
    In need of much love: Blood Altar (needs cast time removed and/or heal buffed).

    My top 5 favorite skills so far in the game:

    1) Destructive reach:
    Nothing is more satisfying than knocking people down from high ground back to first floor and get a kill caused by fall damage.

    2) Shadow Image:
    I like this mini "sentry." I can place it down and watch it turning straight towards my direction and know immediately:
    Someone is behind me.

    3) Ritual of retribution:
    My counter against Sload meta, but I like the fact that this skill is also a dot which procs my Skoria.

    4) Shadowy Disguise:
    I like these zergs which forgets to stun me and I look at them like:
    "Wanna see a magic trick?" *Vanish*
    (And those who will now get an idea "WHAT ABOUT SLOADS?!", I purge myself before using cloack)

    5) Time Freeze:
    Can be used tactically as a divider. Enemies knows what happens if they enter in, so I can try to keep melee characters away if I summon it around myself and I can divide players from entering on certain area for limited amount of time. (Handy at doorways, bridges and other narrow paths.)
