Where do you think the next chapter should take place (besides Murkmire)?

Now that Summerset is released, one thing I've been thinking about is where ESO is planning to go next. The obvious choice seems to be Murkmire, however. In fact, with what's been seen through hints and datamining so far, along with the fact that it's been in the works for ages now, Murkmire seems like the most likely candidate for the next chapter. However, after Murkmire...what next?

For starters, the province we've seen the least of up to this point is Elsweyr. At the moment, we have Reaper's March and Khenarthi's Roost. But the former is also partially into Valenwood, while the latter is merely in island. It would be nice to see Anequina and Pellitine for the first time, as well as cities like Torval, Senchal, Orcrest, or Riverhold.

Skyrim is a province we've already been to in TES V along with the regions of Eastmarch and The Rift (and to a slight extent Falkreath). However, there is one thing that could be very exciting to see: Winterhold. Since the Great Collapse didn't occur until the Fourth Era, this is the perfect opportunity for us to see Winterhold in its true glory. They could even add The Pale in addition to Winterhold and make, like, a Sea of Ghosts chapter.
Orr they could go towards western Skyrim and do something with Solitude or the Forsworn in The Reach.

Another option many probably don't think about is the Isle of Balfiera in High Rock. It is the only region of High Rock we have yet to explore, and with the Adamantine Tower at its center, and we can see it from the mainland in the game currently. So if we can see it, why not give us the opportunity to visit it?

The Telvanni Peninsula is another area that has yet to make an appearance in the series, as well as the eastern region of Morrowind. The peninsula would allow us to visit places like Port Telvannis, while the Eastern region could allow us to see places like Necrom and Tear.

And even though we've seen quite a bit of Hammerfell with Hew's Bane, Craglorn, Bangkorai, and the Alik'r Desert. But we haven't seen all of it. So why not finish off Hammerfell and add the region along the Abecean Sea?

Anyone else have an idea for what they'd like to see?

A while back, Raz told this one he wishes to return home. It is a well understood desire. We have walked on hard stones, metallic plates, cold snowdrifts, and more. This one knows that Alik'r is supposedly a desert but it is neither warm, nor is it really sandy. And he also recognises that the Redguards have erected fake 'ruins' everywhere to drive tourism to their fake silicate pit. Pfah! Real ruins have a foundation and do not stick out at strange angles that are directly perpendicular to the dunes themselves! If you are going to con someone, do it better, yes? Elsweyr has much better cons--khajiit means attractions. He misspoke, yes? Only there can one truly walk on warm sands!

One thing I forgot to mention; one region I would've liked to suggest is the Velothi Mountains.

Unfortunately, however, I don't see them happening because of a geographical contradiction between ESO'S map, and every other map of Tamriel: in ESO, Skuldafn is located where the city of Blacklight SHOULD be located. So if they ever introduced the seat of House Redoran and the surrounding region in the future, not only would Blacklight have to be moved south of Skuldafn, but the Velothi Mountains would only have about as much area as Hew's Bane.

So while the fact that it would be a small area is hampering, the fact that Skuldafn is where Blacklight is supposed to be is the biggest factor against seeing the Velothi Highlands in the future unless ZOS does some geographical reconfiguration. ^^;

While I would love to see more of the Alik'r Desert and Hammerfell (like Taneth bc of how much it was referred to in TG), I'd have to say that Elsweyr is even more tempting. The southern jungles of Pellitine are probably A-mazing! And maybe we could see the other forms of Khajiit like Dagi/Dagi-raht and Pahmar/Pahmar-raht.

I'm more confident for Elsweyr in 2020.

I'd say it's a toss-up between Hammerfell and Colovia in 2019, one being the Chapter and the other being split up between two game packs in Q1 and Q4.

Winterhold a great way to cash in on Skyrim nostalgia which = $ while at the same time giving the dev team plenty of creative room since most of Winterhold and coastal parts around the sea of ghosts was destroyed shortly before the events in Skyrim next I would like to see Elsweyr, then fill in the rest of Cyrodill like the Clovian Highlands, Nibenay etc.

I would like the next chapter to be set in post-war Cyrodiil. Unfortunately, I believe it will be in Hammerfell. But maybe we'll get a Thieves' Guild DLC to go with it

Balfiera isn't big enough for even a DLC. Maybe it'll be one of the Dungeons in the Q3 release.

Eh, Those DLC were very limited with in terms of content outside of the cities, Craglorn was base game addon (I think) and meant for all factions. I do count as Orsinium as a Chapter. I also think its cost, scope, and time required are what made ZOS decide to make the distinction between DLC and Chapters. If the rotation holds, assuming there is a rotation, DC would be next in line for a chapter. Although I would be so friggin' happy if it were Elsweyr.
