Will they add more maps?

Does this game put out a lot of map content or update or dlc or w/e you want to call it? Because there's this huge continent that looks like there was plans to fill it up. What happened to those plans? Why so much free space?

Next is Vvardenfell (big island at North east near the rift and stonefalls).

Black marsh (South east) has been delayed.

Tat's all we know ^^

Generally at the end of a DLC storyline, they spoil the next zone.. so we'll know when Vvardenfell PTS will come

the stated goal is to eventually have all of tamriel unlocked, and if they still feel like it they could also do other planes of oblivion and even other continents on nirn.

This is a fanmade map, you can find plenty of them... But there's not much info about these continents (except that they exist/existed somewhere in the past).

They've already added Wrothgar, Abah's Landing and the Gold Coast which are blocked out in pink on your map.

They're planning to add other areas in future too. We don't know exactly when or in what order, but it will happen eventually.

I would assume from the fact we've had DLCs that add new areas to the map that yes, they would like to fill it out at some point

Can we please stop using this map, it's fan-made and fake. Also they never said every DLC would be a new map. Shadows of the Hist wasn't, neither was One Tamriel or the upcoming housing update (if you consider them DLC).

Akavir exists, yes, but have no idea what it looks like or how big it is in comparison to Tamriel, therefore the map is fiction. Same with Pyandonea, but it at least appeared on that old Daggerfall globe.

I wonder if the rest of Summerset Isle looks exactly the same as Auridon. The elves said that Auridon was the more worldly of the Summerset Isles, but I think the high elves are filled with hot air.

Anyone else want to see the Colovian Highlands and Skingrad? (After Vvardenfell of course

The team at ZOS said that they will take their (sweet) time to fill in the map. for some reason they think that adding smaller chunks of the map (see Hew's Bane and The Gold Coast) will prolong their careers at ZOS than adding Wrothgar sized ones.

Well according to a map Skingrad is JUST north of Reaper's March, it wouldn't be hard for them to make it and open up that border. But I don't believe they would make even more of Colovia instead of bringing us a different location.

@Jemcrystal That's how the game used to be, and the image itself is a leveling guideline a player made to give you an idea where you should be as you progress through the zones. With One Tamriel ZOS redid all that to the scaling we have now.

'Add more maps' sounds like its an FPS game

Content and new areas in the form of DLC will probably be added regularly as they have been already.

Yeah, I think we can all rest assured that as long as the ESo servers keep running, the people at ZOS will keep adding new regions. Sometimes small ones, sometimes big ones... sometimes one every couple months, sometimes a longer wait while they work on a larger one... but hey, with patience, it will come. After all, DLC sales make them profit...

The map certainly is fake (or "fan-made"). We know Akavir exists to the east of Tamriel, but we don't know where in the world it is and we don't know what it looks like. I personally hate this map with a passion, primarily because it shows Aldmeris as an extant continent, but also because it makes so many unfounded assumptions.

The one thing I wondered about that map ... What are the symbols for? Like, the little Oblivion Gates etc?
