"Kill 'em with kindness"
Believe me, I tried. However they tried to break and insult me, I was even more kind.
And you know what?
It worked. Sort of. They did calm down, some even started joking, but some just wrote long stories about their miserable life or frustrations they've seen in RL or Cyrodiil. As expected, but I did spend my time longer than I thought.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHP5MKgK0o8Ignore is stupid.
Most of the time it's just a way to avoid confrontation, and actually resolve the problem, it's pathetic, i never put a single person on ignore, if someone says something about me, tells me to *** off or things like that, i make a counterargument, ignore only makes them think like you've lost, because you avoided the conversation. It really is pathetic to be honest.
Most of the time ignore is used like this: you did a terrible job in your role, other people point it out, and ignore list, this is at least what iv'e experienced, i never saw someone actually harassing in this game, like constant spamming, and being offensive all the time, and even if that was the case, i wouldn;t even bother to put him/her on ignore, that's how insignificant he/she is.
I’ve realized that the community is actually not as toxic as I had thought. I’ve developed a strategy that works against other pvp players. For the past few years I’d get tbagged or taunt tells. My approach would be to put them on ignore and chalk it up to the person being a jerk. But then I thought to myself, what’s going on here. Why are they really tbagging? What’s the psychology behind this? And it came to me and so far it’s worked and I’ve actually made friends .
Beat them up with logic and kindness. Every time I get a tbag I send a tell and say the following, “come on man, really? It was a good fight. I thought you were a really cool guy. Why the tbag? I’m just out here trying to have fun and your a really good player”.
See what I did here? 1. I appealed to the players skill. Which softens them up. 2. More importantly, I appealed to their personality of claiming to be s cool guy. So far every person I’ve done this tactic to has apologized and told me why they were frustrated And the reason for the tbagged. I’ve actually made a few friends this way. In the past, I would have put them on ignore and tbagged them back when I got the chance. Not anymore.

People take this *** too seriously. If people lightened up a bit, I would stop doing it. But I get off of the over-the-top reactions from people. That's generally the mentality of 95% of tea baggers.
How to not feed a tea bagger:
1. Ignore tea bagger
2. Come back with something witty that shows you're laid back (you will earn the tea bagger's respect)
