Personally, I decided to vote to what I perceived was the spirit of the OP's postI know, we have a ton of these threads about the Guild Trader system, whether to change to AH, or some other change, and add-ons this or that, etc.Any changes. The difficulties in the discussions are that there is a very adamant group opposing ANY changes to the system, while those who want changes are a very diverse crowd. That diversity can be found in a separate poll here
Which is why for this poll, all I am asking is yes/no and platform. If you want any form of change, then the answer is yes. If you think the system is just fine, and nothing needs changed at all, then, the answer is no.
I attempted to make it as clear as possible that Yes only means that you think 'some' change needs made, not wide sweeping massive changes, or a complete overhaul, which is completely ridiculous. So, I don't know how you believe the 'spirit' is that I want the Auction House...

I know its terrible but I chuckle every time someone says things like, “if you like that game so much, go play that instead.” Brings back memories of kindergarten when kids would tease me telling me that if I love pizza so much I should marry it.
I dont know what kind of service you think you are providing by telling people not to play. Are you trying to help me so I dont have to suffer playing something I actually enjoy but just have a few problems I like to communicate or get off my chest? Are you trying to help ZOS by taking possible revenue away? More likely you just want us to go away so you dont have to listen when people suggest that this game would be more fun with a central auction house.

The problem that those people never grasp, is that games like this have a distinct monopoly. It isn't the normal sort that everyone recognizes easily, but a monopoly of a beloved IP. We probably will not see another TES game anytime soon, because we have ESO and it gets updated all the time. Also, it's multiplayer! So, if we want to play the IP we love to play? There is only ONE place we can go. It isn't necessary, but then, if a company had absolute control over fast food places in a state, they would be gotten for having a monopoly... so...?
But, not looking at a legal issue here, just the "If you don't like this ONE aspect, then go play another game!" attitudes. We would, if there was another Elder Scrolls MMO out there... but, there isn't one, so, we are HERE. It's one aspect of the game that people want changed, so, we're not going anywhere, and we will continue to push for some form of change that makes the Guild Trader system more accessible by ALL players.

There is no monopoly when discussing MMORPGs. I think you may be using the word incorrectly though as Zos owns the TES IP, but that does not make it a monopoly as we have many choices for MMORPGs. Zos merely has control over one IP.
There is a TES VI in the plans though other projects for Bethesda will come before hand.

This is not a legal monopoly, but, it fits the definition, "the exclusive possession or control of the supply or trade in a commodity or service." As ZOS has the exclusive possession and control over the supply of a specific service/commodity, "Elder Scrolls", that means they have a monopoly, which is how it works, come up with an IP, and as long as you maintain your copyrights/trademarks/etc, you have 100% control over it, but that does not change that the situation is a form of monopoly. Not saying it should change, or anything, but it is important to understand that extremely basic concept.
There are no other places you can play a multiplayer Elder Scrolls RPG. So, does not matter what other MMORPGs are out there, because they are not ELDER SCROLLS, which, for a lot of people, is the main reason they got into ESO, and for a lot, the main reason they stay. So, telling people if they don't like one very specific factor, that they should go somewhere else, should probably be in the list of things mods look for, as it does nothing but get people riled up and starts flame wars. And, to me, the person starting them should be the prime target for punishments, if they had not incited the problem, there would not be a problem. That comment alone adds nothing to any discussion and is completely designed to cause problems and fights. People can claim they meant nothing by it, and act all innocent, but I don't think anyone has ever used it 'innocently' in reply to someone who voices complaint over a single aspect of a game: we all know it isn't an innocent comment, it is a baiting comment, may as well have told people to "git gud" or any of the other fairly famous "bait/troll" comments.

It seems rather melodramatic to call it a monopoly.
It is like saying I have a monopoly over my frying pan. I own it and can cook whatever I want with it and the family will eat it or not.
The rest of you comment does not make sense. I cannot tell if you are upset with replies people have made concerning the guild traders or you are upset Zos will not remove the guild traders and add a central kiosk system.

First, it's a common term, people use it a LOT. Such as when a GF or BF tells their significant other that something (video games for example) is monopolizing their time. Don't overthink things, like I said, extremely basic concept, any extra dramatization is yours in your inference.
Next, putting words in my mouth? Really? I am only concerned that people twist and misrepresent what players are really wanting. Case in point, your statement is that we want a central kiosk/AH, when only a fifth of the most vocal of players (the forums represents that) want that, and about half just want search bars or the functionality of the add-ons added into the basic part of the game. But, your comment implies that what we ALL really want is just to have an AH. Those are the comments that concern me. Like I said, you don't have it in you to try to debate or discuss, you have it in you to refuse to budge, to ignore anyone with a differing opinion until they call you out on your refusals to actually be PART of a discussion. Then, you just make a ridiculous requirement, and stand back proud in your ability to deflect, rather than work with the community when they voice complaints.
Now, you are twisting words, and putting others in the mouths of your opponents? Good work.
