Class Sub-forums?

As far as the PTS class feedback threads, these do prove to be useful to have everything centralized in a single thread. In the future, though, we're talking about limiting these threads to the updates where we plan to actively make changes to class abilities to better set expectations.

If developers appreciate an easy to find cluster of class feedback, and if you do go forward with limiting class feedback threads to particular updates, would you consider creating class sub-forums, perhaps nested under the combat forum? So that players could still give feedback outside of these PTS threads.

My memory is foggy on this but I think back at launch we had class forums, and zos got rid of them for no good reason

At one point we had a developer feedback forum. They posted some ideas including ideas in some class topics, then the forum was deleted and the threads dispersed. I'm suggesting a DK sub-forum, Templar sub-forum, etc.

Well that reply is BS, for most class changes you'd only have to change some values and isn't the pts the place to find out if a change puts other systems at risk?
Be sloppy on the pts be rash, see how it works, just do something

Sub-forums would be awesome but I'm not sure there are enough posters to make it worth their while. I still regularly see threads sit on the front page of combat, general, or PVP for several days with only one or two posts.

One of the key things I've noticed is how little the majority of readers participate in the forums. I will even have players quote me and state they agree, but never click the agree button. The number of readers is always drastically higher than the number of posters, even further separated are the actual number of total agree, insightful, awesomes. Threads will have readers in the thousands, but most posts have 2-5 interactions(ie agree, insightful, awesome). This shows that most people generally are just not participating in the forums.
