Not complicated at all. Not sure why OP worded choices like they did.
My main is my main crafter, has all 57 motifs, knows all 560 recipes, 9 traits and can do vet HM dungeons and lvl 27 AvA.
Yes one toon can do all with skill points left over.
I also have 3 alts that are master crafters but still learning motifs.
Started leveling 3 more alts to master crafter as will need to farm Master Writs so to get Jewelry Tables for guild hall!! Lol!

Yes. One character does all my crafting and little or nothing else.
My crafter has enough skill points to have all the crafts and still wear medium armor, dual wield and the Templar stamina morphs, and a few Legerdemain and Fighter's Guild. I could stand to farm more skill points though.

I basically play all of my characters semi evenly, and it's a variety of races/classes/weapons/armors. That's probably why, after two years of playing, and adding more alts up to 15 now, I'd only completed the main story quest for the first time a few months ago. But since that first one, I've completed it on three more, and I have those characters completing Cadwell's Silver.

So when I started playing this way, I spread the crafting skills across 6 of my 8 chars, kinda like all my chars are part of a team. I did this so that each of the crafting skills could be maxed out as quickly as possible by at least 1 char, including being able to put more points into each of the skills. This way, I was able to make the complex pots/glyphs and 4 pots/food/drinks per transaction much earlier. I could also make the highest level of gear, improving enchantments more quickly, complete researching faster, and keeping up with the overall leveling of my characters as they all worked toward 50 and the magic CP's

Now, I have all of the 15 chars maxed to 50 on all crafting skills but Enchanting, (and the last few for alchemy & provisioning when I get around to them) and I'm about 5 chars deep on maxing that also. However I do have a pecking order tho' and the main gear crafter who started with Blacksmithing always gets first pick of motifs, and gets food/drink recipes 2nd only to my Provisioner, because the Provisioner was always able to make the higher and more complex foods & drinks from early on.

This might sound a bit weird, and maybe awkward, but it's worked well for me...I even go as far as placing surveys with the char that matches up with the skill, simply so that I know where they are, they can stack more efficiently, and then I'll go out occasionally & farm them while switching zones and characters much less than if I didn't organize them in such a way.

Yes. One character does all my crafting and little or nothing else.
I have one main provisioner, which I created long time ago before player housing became a thing.
I do all the cooking and brewing with that one since it will cost me millions to learn all recipes on another character which got all the crafting skills maxed out. This other character is the one I use for doing writs and every crafting related thing, except provisioning.
Rest of my characters are based mostly on PvP, so they can't craft anything except level 1 daily crafting writs. :D

Don't you get the crafting bag right now, during the free eso+ event occurring right now? Aah, I just reread the article on the main game page, and you actually have to choose the eso+ free trial from the crafting store. If you do that tho', then you'll get the crafting bag. Even at the end of the event on 4/30, you'll still keep the bag, just won't be able to put anything more into it...just in case, you weren't aware of this...

my "crafter" and main toon has woodworking, blacksmithing, and clothing maxed; he makes the stuff. My alt has enchanting and alchemy maxed, he makes the potions and glyphs, and my tank is the cook of the family.

This way I have a functioning crafter/stamDK, enchanter/magDK, and a cook/tank without the need to hunt down every last sky shard and skill point.

    Scrubs:

    Zaaka- Imperial stamDK/crafter

I would have liked the option "Yes. One character does all my crafting and everything else."

My crafter needs the most skill points, and soon it'll need even more, so it's my completionist by necessity. It's my only character that has to do everything once.

My main is also my main crafter. I had it split before Homestead, main had smith/wood and second char had cloth (and I didn't give a flying fig about consumables), but once furnishings required one character knowing lots of crafts I started picking more things up on my main.

That doesn't mean I have a master crafter. My main is maxed on wood/smith, and has 50 cloth but not many skills and has just begun trait research (my second alt has most of the research done but is still only around skill 30). I'll put jewelcraft on my main as well, there's still plenty of sky shards in the world for her to get the needed points.

My main is my master crafter, gatherer, refiner. I have an alt that I'm leveling up with some crafting, she may eventually get to master craft level. My other 6 do gathering, some deconstruction and eventually I'll level them up to get better mats from gathering.

All 8 are also working on the main stories and DLC. Someday when my main is essentially done he will retire to only do crafting and fishing.

Yes. One character does all my crafting and little or nothing else.
I have 1 dedicated crafter because I didn't want to wait until I started getting more skill points than I needed to level up crafts, and so I only need 1 copy of each motif. (I made him an Imperial to save finding/buying that one.)

I may start training some crafts on my other characters so they can do writs, but I haven't decided yet. I definitely won't bother getting all the motifs for all of them.

Not complicated at all. Not sure why OP worded choices like they did.

They phrased it that way because they're clearly one of those people who think that it's not possible to be a master crafter AND still be effective in multiple combat roles on the same character, due (bizarrely) to a lack of skill points in the game.

It's totally possible to be a master crafter on your main. You just have to, y'know, spend time doing game content that awards skill points.

My 1st character is THE crafter in my group of characters. She gets all the motifs, all the recipes, and does all the farming runs/picking up of the surveys. I have 1 other character that is a "master crafter" one more that is close to being one, and the rest are in training. They will not be learning all of the motifs or anything like that. They can have spare green recipes and blue motifs, but that is all.

That main crafter of mine, she can do other things too. She kills plenty of things in the world.

One of my secondaries, who was my main in Beta remade, is my designated gear and furnishings crafter. He can do all six max level craft writs, and knows all the motifs and unique furnishings plan. He is also a dps and an off tank that I use most often for leading normal trial runs. My main does all 6 craft writs too, but only learns cheap extra motifs and plans that I acquire. I have a few other characters that do various max writs, and one who is my dedicated chef and knows all the recipes.

Seem to level a crafting character first in most games I play.
It normally pays off being self sufficient but it takes time to see the full benefit. Thankfully with eso its actually useful. In a game like BDO its all in aid of making gold and it's a mindless grind like most of the game.
