I doubt that he can actually do something if you put him on ignore.

He can't talk to you, mail you, whisper you at all. but you can still see him, he can still see you but he constantly tries to follow and never goes away unless you TP somewhere but he tries to find you again anyway

That's creepy, but same time impressive spy skills... how does he find you after you teleport??

I don't even know.
I changed my @ name. I even changed my characters name too and somehow he knew it was me

He must have you in same guild or friend list with another account then, at least that's the simplest way I can think of to do that tracking work.
But serious thing is, you said he is asking around about you. Does it only involves in-game stuff, or does it includes real life information? If it includes real life information then I suggest take action and try to do something through law.
If it's only about in game stuff... well maybe he is just a creepy roleplayer.
I believe you can avoid him by staying in your in game house and other instances (like dungeons and trials), or even gather evidence and report him
More likely it's his ignore list. Ignore lists get updated automatically when someone changes the @ account name. And unlike friend lists you can't remove yourself from someone's ignore list.I doubt that he can actually do something if you put him on ignore.

How about you just put the player on ignore, and teleport to a wayshire so the person can't tag along?

Don't let him ruin your fun and enjoyment with the game. Report the guy, and be just as persistent reporting him as he seems to be in stalking you.
He can also be in an trade guild with you, would check that first.ntheogenic wrote: »More likely it's his ignore list. Ignore lists get updated automatically when someone changes the @ account name. It is a good feature, but it can be abused to track people.

I did that actually. Somehow he manages to find me.
I even do /Stuck so he could think I just logged off but he somehow still finds me.
I even logged off onto another character, then I alt back after a certain amount of time and he was just sitting there, waiting.
Reporting him for harrassment is the best thing to do honestly. How about you just put the player on ignore, and teleport to a wayshire so the person can't tag along?

Do you have friends in common? Or guilds? Or maybe he have some others peoples stalking you and giving him any new informations about you? Or maybe your character appearance is still the same, despite your account and character name change? Or he knows very well your personality and with who you are talking / socializing in game, thus he finds you with that. Or maybe this person has severals accounts and stalk you with a second account.
(I'm not trying to make you more paranoid, just I'm just trying to figure out how he can find you every time). But this is really creepy to act like this.

I have and the response I got was to put him on ignore which I already had him on ignore.
