Bug with Reduced Cost Enchants

When I began testing for mine and @Mapurr 's healer spreadsheet for Summerset, I noticed a bug with the Spell Cost Reduction enchants.

Here is Spell Cost Reduction on an infused ring:

uuNelbD.png

Here is Spell Cost Reduction on an arcane ring:

u3mOhrR.png

And here is the Spell Cost Reduction at an enchanting station:

uQa8aQL.png

This makes things impossible to fully test for optimized healer builds right now.

Just to note this isn't just me:

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Can we get some feedback on this bug?

Weird, I was getting something like 524 on infused and arcane (gold). I also checked the tooltip in at the station and it was still 524.

I re-enchanted the necklace and it stayed at 324. Live Reduced Spell Cost at gold is only 203. I didn't see anything about Spell Cost Reduction being buffed in the patch notes either.

The 324 sure seems like the normal 204 amount * 1.6.

And the 524 would be close to the 324*1.6, lol.

So something does seem a little screwy.

Have you guys tried to test if these are just tooltip problems or what you skills say before and after equipping these items?

Right, the infused one should be 324, but the regular, non-infused, glyphs are also reflecting 324 as well.

Here's with the infused neck with reduced cost and 2 regen:

I noticed that, if you have an infused piece of jewelry equipped, the reduced spell cost glyph will show the infused value, no matter if you actually have the infused jewelry enchanted with it or not. When I took of the infused ring, the value went back to normal.

Just tried that and you're right:

But it would seem both the enchants are applying with the 1 infused neck on. /:

It's definitely just a bug with reduced cost.

    Here's regen:

    mBshiag.png

Still has the infused amount on Reduced Cost:

    Here's spell damage:

    UTRZcX9.png

Doesn't affect spell damage on another ring:

So it knocked off an extra 266 when adding a non-infused reduced cost ring to the mix. More than the standard 204 (which always worked out to be less than 204).

On my Magplar I just went and created a gold reduce cost glyph and it was still 203. He hasn't unlocked Jewlcrafting yet though.

Sounds like infused is somehow carrying over to other pieces, maybe similar to how infused carries over to the primary weapon in a dual wield set up.

I played around with infused affecting other enchants and it's just affecting reduced cost. Including Reduced Stamina Cost:

There is also bug with infused trait and Shield-play enchantment. There are few glitches in tooltip with items with that trait, but more important, it doesn't work. It have no any impact on block cost.
However, infused trait works for recovery enchantment. I tested it with magicka recovery.

It's working, but with the reduced cost it's actually applying it to the other enchants on non-infused jewelry if you have more than one.

lol at the dude in the bottom pic who needed help figuring out how to print screen
    Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
    Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

Liofa just posted a thread with Potion Cooldown Reducion also being reduced by double the amount intended.

It looks like somewhere along the system there is a double dipping in Infused vs original values or using an Infused trait is "sticking" the bonus somewhere and reapplying with a new piece or something.

It pays to test other enchantments too. If only my PTS downloaded at more than 200KB/s...

I just can't get rid of him. Puglandros, smh.

Anyways, I'd like this thread to not devolve into random banter haha.

This bug is really annoying, and until fixed on PTS, it's going to be impossible to test the things we healers really need to test not just for PvE but for PvP as well. ):

I saw Liofa's video. The difference here is that I have 1 infused, not 3. I tested multiple enchants, and the only ones that are applying infused to non-infused jewelry are cost reduction so far. As you can see above, I posted my tests with other enchants as well. I've tried just about all of them so far, and cost reduction seems to be the one that is applying when you have 1 infused equipped.

It's the same problem though. Infused is working 3x on all three of his jewelry pieces.

Should be 5 seconds * 1.6= 8 seconds per piece but instead it is 5 seconds * 2.8 (three 60% added together) so each jewelry is getting 14 seconds each.

This also explains why the fellow in this thread saw a reduction of ~500 something. I'll bet if you use 3 infused cost reductions the amount the tool tip shows will be 203*2.8 = 568 on each piece.
