6 new Traits are coming. For you, which has the worst effect? Comment below what (classic) Trait you would like to see in Jewelry (Divines, Training etc).

Remember: it's not about numbers. But effects.

    Swift (Increases Movement Speed)
Unless in future new dungeon/trials we have something that you need to sprint somewhere in a limited amount of time and you are dead if you are mag build with low stamina...it's useless in PVE

in PVP...well it's still kinda useless

Unless we actually have some new skills that scale of movement speed, lol

It's easier to say what is worst because of exactly that reason. Good traits need to be seen in effect, whereas bad traits can be identified by other reasoning.

Exactly @Chickenstein Numbers can be easily adjusted by Zenimax. Another thing is the effect. Just remember the change that happened with Prosperous (who became Invigorating).

I'm not saying that it's easier to pick the best... but it's just so typical to take the negative approach :pensive:

    @Vostorn @Blackleopardex

You can point that out all you like and pretend it is that way but you will still not get anywhere without numbers... even the resistance trait can be good if the value is high enough. So again, no numbers, no point for me :)

Oh perhaps I got the tone of this thread wrong. I thought of it as a discussion/speculation, not of a bashing/rant.

It's not the worst trait, but the last I would use. I think all traits are good, it just depends on your build and what you want to do with your character.

I would like to try Infused. This one seems interesting.

    Swift (Increases Movement Speed)
I think swift in most cases as it doesn't help in most PvX builds as you want stats other than speed.

That said I think it has some uses and I plan to use it on my trading character to get around faster.

Honestly, I think Harmony has the highest potential if used correctly. There are a few builds/group set ups that it would be insane on with the right set up.

Even if it was, it's still a bland effect. I'm not a fan of Protective. It's something we can already get from a lot of sources, and most of the other jewelry traits are unique or interesting in some way. Protective is just, "here, have some more armor."

Protective (Increases Physical and Spell Resistance)
Protective is the overall worst empirically.

You lose so much by running it over any other trait, and we already have sets like Fortified Brass, Blood Spawn and Chudan to help you out if you want to hit resistance cap in light or medium armour.
I can't see any reason why a tank would want to take this over Infused or a resource based trait, given how easy it is to cap out resists already.
Running it is also a massive damage/healing loss in PVP as well, as you lose out on the more active stats.

Harmony is a close second, but it at least has some potential for Blood Altar memes.

Trirune is good if you want a bunch of everything.

Swift I'd say would be best in slot for levelling and doing overland content (skyshards and lorebooks)

and everything else is just flat out good.

I think Protective is being overlooked by people who aren’t seeing the benefit of tanking outside of HA. Also two of those on your PVP set and you kill the Spinner/ Spriggan’s bonus before its ever applied. Worst is easily the synergy trait.

Problem is people with no interest in tanking or mitigation are casting their votes. I do feel that the numbers could be adjusted though.
