    I've made over 3.5 mil so far this event. So as you can imagine, I'm quite enjoying it - especially considering I've been stuck at 500k for the past two years :)

    Now to keep all my worm cult motifs and make a killing in a fortnight's time.

    Money has rapidly diminishing marginal value both IRL and in game. The real value is in fact your time. I'd rather spend that time doing more interesting things that doing the same dailies over and over again until I want to break the keyboard, hitting the refresh button on TTC addon & website every 2 minutes, and endlessly browsing guild traders for the best bargains, all of those while watching the clock trying to continue. Of course I do those things from time to time, when I do need something, but I don't play for it, and I don't want to ruin my experience doing it endlessly for ultimately pointless rewards like adding another digit to my make-believe bank account.

    For example last evening I was so fed up with dailies for motifs I just did my writs and went right into Battlegrounds with a character I had seldomly played in Cyrodiil PvP and never in Battlegrounds. I got pummeled hard the first few matches, because my builds don't allow much space for error (I only play medium or light armor, never heavy), but I really didn't care much about it, since my expectations were lowered accordingly. Also getting killed constantly pushes you to learn to play better, time your combos better, heal, roll dodge and manage resources. In the end the whole experience felt really relaxing, something I didn't need to push myself into continuing, like running Bloodforge for the 56th time for motifs to sell, or running around Cropsford to collect sacks of grain for the next reward box. I barely noticed when time went by, and when I finished I had like 240K AP and the clock was a quarter past 2 AM.

    I have 40M gold in game and only trade as a side show to get rid of surplus items that are otherwise clogging my inventory. I never bothered to flip items, I am pretty much self sufficient when it comes to expensive materials like legendary tempers so I don't spend much either; the only things I buy regularly are refined materials for keeping writs going so I can get those. Crafting writs are indeed a chore, but I do them pretty much mindlessly, while chit-chatting on Discord with guild mates while warming up for the game so I barely notice when they're done. I'm not really into housing, since I'd rather "rent" guild halls with every set crafting table, transmute station and practice dummies than replicate all of those at my own house, where they'll seldomly get used anyway so my cash supply keeps increasing steadily without putting much effort into it. I really don't understand what people want to do with the hundreds of millions they claim to own, other than inflate their e-peen.

    Only people who would complain about this are the people that are charging exorbitant prices on the traders for things.

    Wouldn't want to get in the way of them making millions right?
    Wouldn't want other players the chance to have something nice, as they themselves already have right?

    @jazsper77, the sky isn't falling.

    1) ESO economy is NOT based on motifs.
    2) The event is extended, but we know nothing about the DROP. I guess it will be adjusted not no overflood the market with motifs. Matbe WC will drop more often so that people could get it, but the other motifs - we'll see.
    3) With the new jewellery system the market will have a new stage of it's "life"
    4) New motifs are coming, don't you know? We have Scalecaller concept art, the gorgeous motifs, that will be expensive. And I'm sure we'll get new motifs and furniture plans with the new Chapter.

    I'm just gonna shove all my motifs into my guild bank, and then in 5 months time if they are worth more I will sell them. Or trade them to people in exchange for motifs that I need.

    And I say this as someone who usually makes 100k-300k a week selling motifs. Just chill and be glad we get an extra week of boxes :)

    My main problem with the event is that ZOS is basically diminishing the achievement of some hard to earn motifs by throwing them at you for free. Did it last year too and left me with mixed feelings.

    On the other hands wtf is going on with the Worm Cult stuff? After opening about a thousand boxes I still only have 6 drops! What’s the agenda for an average Joe here? Getting them in the next 10 years?

    Why should you be compensated? You are just miffed that you're not making your 'Millions of dollars' ...... I for one hope the motif market plummets over the next week or so then maybe the 'Ordinary' player (99% of the playing population) will be able to add to his/her motif collection.

    Others, including yourself, I'm sure won't agree but I think why should the 'Game Economy' exist for an elite few?

    If this is the economy six months ago, I missed something back then. I think it has set it back a few, though, to before outfits ruined motif prices. I'm glad to see them dropping back to reasonable rates, though sadly I think they will rebound back to stupidly high prices before too long.
