This item would unbind one Bind on Equip item for a Crown fee.

And what about an item to change a bound Bind on Pickup item into an unbound Bind on Equip item ...

You can sell things that are bound on pickup for really high prices if this was possible. Trading might not be the main thing in the game but it'd give you quite the advantage on the markets.

It's already easy enough to grind your 15 chars through vAS weekly to get your perfected weapons.
    Pricing wouldn't be that high.
Ok well you probably wanna get a compensation for your payed crown store fee soo...

    Come on that's just pathetic.

What would be the reason? You can transfer Items between your chars anyway.
For selling? Then no, Binding should be a commitment. If you wanna sell it, then dont use it.

As long as there was also an option to do it in game for gold or transmute crystals, etc.

No, if there is going to be unbinding mechanics they need to be open to everyone not just those who can afford real money payments.

Dropped items are already boa. You can use them with any of your characters. The only reason to unbind an item would be to sell it to another player.

Now, we’re suggesting paying real money to be able to sell boa dropped items to other players?

    Hehe, no...just no...bad idea.

Flat no, pay to win. Removes the reason people do half the content anyway.

Short sighted view people will say yes, but it wouldn't be healthy.

You must run low on contentious debates. Surely buffing Sorc wards is next? It has my full support when you do

If there should be an option for unbinding things then it should be aquired in game not in the crown store. A system similar to the retraiting but much rarer.

It takes away from the main incentive to run endgame PVE content.

Plus spending money in the crown store to directly gain the ability to sell items to other players doesn't really sit well with me.

I think it could be ok if (and only if) it was only possible to use them on items which start out tradable and become bind on equip.

Anything which is bound on pickup or otherwise bound immediately should not be tradable.

But I'm not sure how practical that would be for ZOS. If there's an easy way for an automatic system to compile a list of allowed items and update it whenever new items are added that would be ok. If a person has to do it manually that adds a lot to the cost of the item, which you can guarantee will be passed on in full to the buyer, which would probably make it so expensive it's not worth buying because unbinding the item will cost more than you'd get by selling it.

Some people already use it to some extent for style mats. Buy stones, decon the gear and you can have any style mats in the game. Frostcaster mats sell for a lot. However, that issue lies squarely with ZoS not allowing some mats to be available by any other means other than purchasing *** through the CS.

Are we talking about just unbinding BOE items only or are we also talking about unbinding BOP items as well. I see a big difference there.
