I have around 30 characters all under level 50 and i am questing like crazy at bruma. So far today I've completed 30 quests at Bruma and 12 quests doing daily writs and not once been killed.
I guess I can say L2Quest
You lot say I'm just "wining about free stuff"
ah yes.. the 300+ boxes of low end crafting materials I can't use and nobody will buy, all the while people around me are getting motifs, praxis and high end materials
I kid you not when I say this, the single most valuable thing I've gotten out of all the boxes I've popped so far is literally dirt (desecrated soil)
I mean... still all I can say is #firstworldproblems. You're still getting free stuff lol. I'm not sure what more ZOS can do short of literally dumping gold into every player's inventory.
But what if you ran out of things to transmute O.o are you saying I should transmute some random every day object into nirnhoned just to deconstruct it?

If you're on PC you can transmute some PvP gear for me. ha ha I'll have you out of crystals in 22 seconds flat. I've already run through mine.

Someone else suggested that, and I can't take credit for it. But it's better than letting your crystals go to waste, in my opinion. Or offer to transmute something for free in zone. One transmute will free up 50 crystal spots.

Increase the the *** drop rate (or not, cuz I totally need another 3000 Rejera from the boxes, yes...I actually kept count)
So, to get 1 motif you need like 200 boxes (more like 2K if you want a worm cult motif) cuz zos like to be jerks with this kind of thing
To get boxes you need to do dalies
Best place to get dailies (after you burn though all your crafting writs, pledges, guild and cwc dailies) is the town quests in cyrodiil
and THERE'S the root of the evil/problem
You force place to choose between having a small chance at getting motifs by charging head first into cyrodiil, finding out there's at least 2 dozen of each enemy faction at every town in every campaign and getting slaughtered over and over for that one streak of 15 mins where they *** off and you can do the missions
OR
Don't get motifs/get motifs at a *** taking bad rate
solution:
Increase the the *** drop rate (or not, cuz I totally need another 3000 Rejera from the boxes, yes...I actually kept count)
Pretty weird the motif drop rate vs locations, when turning in cratfing writs in Riften I got few books, while the same in Mournhold gave me none - just worthless motif stones. I need to return to Riften for more.
Yesterday I got one motif and a few blueprints on 8x6 today it was 10 motif with many rareDaveMoeDee wrote: »Pretty weird the motif drop rate vs locations, when turning in cratfing writs in Riften I got few books, while the same in Mournhold gave me none - just worthless motif stones. That's called small sample size.
I once had 4 characters in a row have no motif over 6 writs. Otherwise, I feel like I average about 1 motif per 6-10 writs. That is a really rough guess. I feel like it is close to 6 than 10, but I haven't really be keeping track. I do 6 writs for 14 or 15 characters daily except for one day where I didn't even do half. The first day, I had 2 days of writs per character. The OP either is really unlucky or isn't paying attention.
