What makes you leave a guild?

The usual in other words. I'm in 2 good large guilds on EU. There is "Spirit of Nirn" (which ive been in since they started) parent guild of "Nirn Traders" and then "TDK (Templar Dragon Knights)" whom I joined via my friends a year and a half ago, both full of wonderful people.

Im in another guild too but its small and for close friends and such "Hircines Wolfpack", never will leave because ironically even if the game collapsed we're still be the wolfpack for sure because thats how it is outside of the game too haha. (named after hircine obviously and one of us having a love for wolves - I mean who doesnt werewolf powaaaaaa).

Never found the need too look elsewhere great people all around and usually most problems that occur sort themselves out. Im kinda lucky actually - had I not met the right people at the right time id probably be hopping from guild to guild.

Hope others have found great guilds to be a part of.

like i said to the other guy if you join a trade guild you gotta dish out money to the guild or your not gonna have a trader. but other guilds yea it makes no sense why there would be a tax thats only for trade guilds.

Most of the time inactivity they don't do anything nobody on guild leadership hasn't played in months etc
I just find better guilds sometimes and leave to join another

I did leave a trading guild one time because they had a rule that you had to sell an item every 24 hours in addition to the sales req, honestly to me makes it feel like a chore

I also leave if no one ever responds to you unless you're part of their clique, or guilds that are 400+ members but you only ever see the same 10 people talking away in guild chat. Very unwelcoming

well your first reason makes no sense as why join a trade guild if your not there to sell? lol you want stuff moving every day or your not making yourself or the guild money

First one i left when i started getting handed "responsibilities" like keeping track of sales and prices. No thanks.

2nd was supposedly a nice casual pve guild but no lie 5 mins after i get invited the bro-talk starts and suddenly everyone can do more DPS then the next.

Those are the only 2 ive left. Stayed solo a while, life is just easier that way. Found a nice trade focused but they do runs and whatnot as well kinda guild.

Very laid back, no minimums, no expectations, there are raffles but again no expectations.

Thats my singular but big criteria: no expectations. Be it build, donations, event attendance etc. Just let me play, ill contribute if/when i can

never join a big trade guild cause youll never stay in it longer than a week you have to contribute every week to keep a trader now with so much competition

That's absurd. If I sell an item for 5000 one day, then nothing the next day, then two items for 10,000 the next day, I made the guild the exact same amount of money. If I pay for a week, it doesn't matter at all if I sell an item a day or all of my items on the last day of the month. Get back to me if I haven't sold anything after a week.

If I wanted to make sure I sold one item a day, the best way would be to underprice one item to make sure it sells, and then do that every following day. That underpricing would make the guild less money, or at the very least screw me out of what I could have made.

Babysitting your items to meet the arbitrary 24 hour goal is a perfect reason to leave a guild. Not selling one thing a day isn't selling nothing at all. Your dismissive LOL is a nice touch, though.

Yup, just left one due to that. There are just some weeks where I want to clear out my "middling" stuff and I don't quite make it to that fee. So I decided to leave and find another guild that isn't quite so...demanding.

I've found that by listing on Thursday or Friday evening, I get all the sales I could want and don't have to bugger about with selling daily. Rarely is there anything left over.

So you just a bot (damage bot, tank bot and heal bot) for elite players in guild. Nothing more.

Reason 2) caused me to left the largest regional guild next morning and I was a member probably just for a week. And guild master sent me a lot of whisperers why I left and evening before he was part of it. Of course I ignored him totally.

When I suffer from massive burnout and poof without a word for an extended period of time and they boot me for inactivity or whatever. I'm downloading the game after not playing since over a year. I've probably been booted from multiple guilds.

Left the first trading guild I was in, because they could not maintain traders. Think we went 6 weeks without a trader at one point.
Left the 2nd trading guild I joined, due to taking a five month break from the game, starting back in January.
