I think it is a very good entry and valid for solo.

My objection was aimed at someone making a post and adding their own unsupported 'opinons' under the official rules.

If he/she had read the rules like they had agreed to with their submission, they would have realized that. My concern is this nameless contributor who might get stiffed because of the former's apparent ignorance to the rules, and more specifically to the reason behind the rules.

I don't make personal attacks, but I do drive hard when it comes to making a point that would ultimately benefit this person, and their friend.

It's my anonymous tough love.

The rules are written the way they are to specifically include everyone who contributed to the photo, not the intended portrayal of the subject of the photo itself.

The guy/girl has clearly made a solo entry, and used some imagination.

Official rules are like scientific names. They keep everyone on the same page by using the same language.
Not a single word in that bolded part is an opinion.


Also, you had no issue accepting my response in the official thread regarding 'a prince by definition is always male'. Yes, I may come off as a *** or a *** or even a *** *** at times. But it's always matter of fact. Not malicious.

here's my solo entry (sheogorath). I wanted to also include my sheo altar in my char's house. I hope the judges will get the reference that lettuce, yarn, and a soul gem are used in TESIV to summon him

I'll bet if you can get a fork to represent the Fork of Horripilation, stick it in the lettuce, and rotate the shot to get a better view of both you and the three (now four) constituents, you'd have a winner!

I honestly didn't see the yarn or lettuce at first. xD

I would hope that ZOS wouldn't have to write out future contests as "more than one but fewer than three" people when referring to a duo. It's a middle grades math concept that if you require 1.10 people for a project, you need at least 2 people and in instances such as that you would not round down.

But I suppose the true in-game test would be to turn nameplates on, for self included, and then count the named characters.

It's not so much concern as helping people pick the most accurate category as per the official rules. It's your final call on where you put it.

I didn't really mind it tbh, I think it should've counted as a solo pick anyway even though you kind of used 2 screenshots in one right, but everyone else is using backgrounds and such like you said so it should be fair imo

If they've posted them in both already, problem solved. Nighn will get their fair shot in the duo competition, and I wish the best of luck to them. If nobody had pointed out that it wasn't a solo screenie, they wouldn't have even been entered.

Well he is the daedric prince of debauchery... I figured "debauchable" would be an appropriate look for him. I rolled a sorc (named Sam Gwynne ) just for this and now I'm super attached... think I'm gonna finish leveling him and keep him around for a while.

You know, I'm not sure. I wish I could go back and crop my original solo submission a bit but it's not big enough of a deal for me to follow up on it. If anyone does have a solution I'd love to hear it. * *edit** I debated resubmitting it but think it's a bit iffy and don't want to get DQ'ed for it.

This is my submission (based on Hircine).
I know the statues always present him sort of raggedy and wearing furs and such, but I thought since he is a daedric prince, he'd sometimes present himself in a more intimidating, regal manner.

Look at some of the lorebooks on Hircine and the werewolves! You might find some more inspiration.
