I need your honest options for a poll regarding what's killing PVP in ESO.

Hi folks. I would like to collect at least 5 options before proposing a poll regarding: What's killing PVP in ESO? Please, be objectives. I would like to see some options before proposing the final poll in at least 4 days. Thank you. Here is a few options:

1. People swamping from factions WHILE IN THE SAME CAMPAIGN without penalties such as we have for swamping the Home Campaign;
2. The abuse of Destro ult in a group of 24 people, causing major lag issues and lost of performance. Maybe change the visual aspect of destro to something visible (the radius), but really simple.
3. The issue regarding long queues caused intentionally by someone that has another character in a different faction in the same campaign. (Still needs confirmation if it's possible or not).

    The lack of penalties for large groups standing inside of each other. I vote for less damage and less healing (on an exponential scale) any time more than 4 people are within 7 meters of each other.

    I haven't actually been hit with the destro ulti stack in awhile.. but I have been playing Kyne during the "nightshift" which is very different to peak Vivec.

    2. The server's apparent inability to handle zergs and faction stacks to allow for responsive gameplay while in large scale combat

    3. You can't do that anymore after the last patch.

    I don't think anything is "killing" PvP, but the lag and load screens are by far the worst issues.

    I see tons of people complaining about Zergs. I think we should fix it the same way Planetside 2 did, as they have a similar conquest system.

    Friendly fire. Then small groups can watch the big groups kill themselves! Would be great!

    Group only advantages(Rapid Manouvers, Purge, Sancturary, Worm Cult, etc) give groups unnecessary power.

    I like pvp but there needs to be something new. Weve been fighting the same battle for a loooong time.

    *add purpose to ic/sewers. Allow keys to be used in dungeons. All entries open, and massive drops for big rewards.

    Towns: cool idea, but needs more development. Similar to above, maybe there could be an item drop. Last faction holding the flag is alllwed to open a chest.

    *Escort missions

    *add purpose to resources

    Areas with new siege mecanics and craftable defenses.

    Small pvp zones in the open world that give faction buffs

    1. Erratic, and sometimes terrible, performance.
    2. Tired gameplay. The Alliance War needs some upgrades. We'll put up with everything else if we're having enough fun.

    Other things can be troublesome or annoying, but those two are killer.
    Classes that don't need any class ability nerfs: Nightblades, Dragonknights, Sorcs, Templars, Wardens.

    I still have too much fun in pvp to see it as failed concept, tbh.

    The things I am fed up with:
    - bugs. Right now the sluggishness of barswap.
    - "secret" mechanics. The things possible with animation cancelling are over the top.
    - power creep. Too much mitigation, too much damage, too much healing in pvp. All at the same time.
    - proc sets. They're back. Cough, caluurion, cough.

    1. Doesn't effect performance, most players don't do this.
    2. Has been nerfed multiple times and most destro-bomb guilds aren't very good to begin with.
    3. Can't do that this patch.

    You only need one poll option: Game Performance. I can deal with and am not bothered by everything else. When abilities are delayed, CC break fails to function, stuck in loading screens, etc., that is what drives me to log out.

    Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.

    I like the ideas. If ZOS could create spots where if people stay there, they will receive some points and help the alliance in general. When I say earn points I mean something to keep them there. Some could argue that we could stack people at the gates, but if they have to wait too long without any sort of compensation they will just leave. People want some action or at least a reward. Maybe points per minute if they control a town or something would do the trick to reduce zergs and spread out people.

    ^this. cant stress enough how much variety cyrodiil is lacking. Every faction has the same keep, the only difference between outposts and keeps is the outer wall. Same goes for vegetation/climate. Yes, we have snow in the north, but what about swamps, or other areas? There is soooo much possible, so many things you could add and do, i am thinkng of writing a list and posting it here, but the questions is, does it pay off for ZOS? Will they change dev priorities for a few people on the forums suggesting something (problem is most people accept it as it is and dont say smt)? What about the lag? I think number one priority is create a best performance base and then see what variety can we add without returning to performanceissues again.

    P.S: Oh and forgot (how could I forget that one actually...), grouping, maybe there should be a groupfinder or smth similar, because people spam "lfg" through and through, the fewest or none bother opening one.

    Negligence by ZOS. For instance:

    Animation cancelling being used by cheaters to land several attacks at once. Not legit combos, but things like the snipe spam glitch that allows cheaters to consistently land multiple snipes simultaneously when a player/cheater uses a certain button sequence.

    Failure of the devs to act and punish cheaters. I have taken video of these snipe spammers and reported them. ZoS does nothing about it. The same people exploit and cheat the very next day and nothing ever happens.

    The negligence toward certain classes and favoritism toward others. For example, Templars have thoroughly explained that the damage stacking formula was changed, then reverted for most classes, but not for us. Instead of fixing the stacking of all damage multipliers they only fixed a few of them, so Sweeps and Radiant are STILL broken and only half-%#@ fixed.

    Well there is allot of stuff that makes me not really care about pvp much at all

    Area being really big and new players being really slow and easily getting lost/stuck way way out there first time i went in there as a noob i got stuck for over 4hrs trying to get past this huge mountain to get back to my base i never went back for half a year pissed me off so much -EP side at the time-

    Having to change gear and cp points

    To hard to see where every one else is - Think commander tag in gw2-

    Leveling up is way way to slow there for ranks

    pve based balance decisions do kill the pvp for me.

    Oh, and also lag, bugs, glitches... but mainly the lack of joy from playing the game itself.
    The game keeps nerfing classes more and more and puts that power into CP and sets, which kills all the fun for me.

    Both quoted for truth and insightfulness. However what we need is not friendly fire but a sort of inverse AoE caps where the damage of your AOE abilities is reduced by X amount per ally standing in the radius.

    These and also, I've always felt IC needed another layer to it. Like if all flags are held and all faction keeps then imperial city is 'nice' and there are controlling faction only quests with BIG rewards or something, and/or non-controlling factions can go to 'improved' IC and do faction quests but the controlling faction gets tiered rewards from those depending on how many are done in a day/week/month - with rewards getting greater over time IC is owned.

    Or something!

    I think a lot of pvp is made bad by different 'types' of pvpers shooting each other in the foot and really - it's about nothing more than ugly, empty buildings?

    This is why I prefer IC.

    Finally, I absolutely respect the dedication it takes to make high ranks, etc - but still- I don't have it in me to cope with mass lag and garbage like that to fight over a pile of bricks.

    AP is like *whoop de doo* who cares - hardly worth having for what you can buy with it and too hard won to buy a gold jewel and get a mere 70k out of it.

    Those things really. :-(

    Have never done eso battlegrounds, doubt I will, I prefer large scale pvp+siege.

    Remove effect AoE caps. (I.e. meteor ult, talons root etc) Reintroduce a minor form of dynamic ultimate. Giving more ult for enemies damaged/taken damage from. Nerf sets such as earthgore. Make all debuffs in PvP only work for those who use them. I.e. maim, defile. Then unnerf everything sustain wise (except the latest changes to block cost)

    Then you have a fairer PvP. Of course balance is still trash. But eh.
