I need your honest options for a poll regarding what's killing PVP in ESO.
What's wounding PVP and PVE is ZoS trying to balance them both side by side. It needs skills that only work in PVP, and skills that work in PVE. Many games do it, and there is no opt-in open world PVP in ESO to worry about.
The more matching /accumulated variables in group sizes over 4, the less AP rewarded.
Variables:
Weapon type
Armour type
Skills
When a group is formed that's greater than 4 people, the AP the group earns starts to decrease. You could also increase the costs of ultimates and/or reduce the damage cause by such ultimates
Introduce campaign faction locking
Fix teh lagss

As a fairly new player I dipped my toe into the pvp game last night. Can't say I was overly impressed by the guys running around at 100mph in full plate armour doing massive bunny hops every few seconds - it just looked stupid and not quite how I imagined a quasi-medieval setting battle would occur. That said I did enjoy just watching the seige weapons firing from a castle wall, that seemed quite well done.
With the outposts in between these are where most people fight, especially with slow mounts. Many will not ride to a fight that is too far away even though it is the right thing to do tactically.
For example why ride to Chalman when Alessia via Sejanus is closer?
Its the lag, that is the main thing, who wants to spend half their, or over half, time in loading screens, and then the ridiculous loading screens you get during fights.
The rest can be avoided or circumvented, but the lag, it effects everyone in cyro.
I can't really put my finger on it. I came to this game for PVP and I don't even do it anymore, I just raid.
I think for me it's the sheer unkillability of some of the builds out there. Having people take no damage in spite of having good damage and knowing what I'm doing, either apart from or in addition to the zerg that tends to ensue, is just too tiresome for me to bear any longer. I would really like to see the capacity to combine self-healing and offensive capacity gutted. You should have to defend yourself proactively, not just heal through everything forever. A healer should be REQUIRED for that. The current situation, I find, leads to toxic attitudes, especially for people with talent and balanced builds that think they're the best out there. The fact that you don't need anybody with you in an MMO is just absurd. vMA should never have happened. /rant
