What is your favorite NON Playable race?

Other poll was doing quite well and wanted to get an idea of the general population, saw some comments talking about an "Other" option so I guess we can make this thread dedicated to that


because there are so many Non-playable races (and some of you are too creative for your own good) I'm gonna ask that you simply state it in your answer before explaining!

I would have to say Sload. While not attractive looking, their lore is fantastic, and necromantic slugs who kill thier own young and create biological weapons is fantastic

Can't remember the name, but there is a race of monkey people that live in Valenwood that pretend they are elves, acting snooty and turning their noses up at humans, despite not having much in the way of intelligence.

That'd be kinda fun to play.

I've always been fascinated by the Tsaeci since I first heard about them in TES3 - I want to know more about them, see their cities, fight some, maybe make a character out of one...

I'd pay real money for an expansion if I could meet versudo...versidie...versid...the snake-guy.

The Naga-

During the Third Era, the Naga gained a reputation of being thugs who committed the majority of crime in Black Marsh.[1] Among other things, the Naga committed criminal actions such as raiding trade and passenger caravans on the roads of Black Marsh, smuggling powerful drugs across the borders of Black Marsh to and from Cyrodiil and Morrowind[1], and kidnapping, robbing, and murdering wealthy Imperials.[2]

hagraven is an interesting choice...they definitely are kind of creepy...turning in to a murder of crows would be pretty awesome though...

I am so gonna have to look up sloads and the naga now...

I was just thinking how cool it would be to have giants in cyrodiil, when I remembered they are there...

unfortunately they're off the beaten emp keep path...

Easily any marine race. Be it Maormer, Sload, Dreugh, they're all great. Maormer for their physical attributes, the chameleon skin, their serpent-taming abilities, their deathless king, and Pyandonea. The Dreugh for their intelligence (but only as water Dreugh), underwater society, and the fact that they ruled the world in a previous kalpa with Molag Bal as their Chief. And finally the Sload because they might have airships (which no other race has, that we know of), and have you ever heard N'gasta talk? It's sublime. The Sload refer to themselves in the same way that the Khajiit do.

Edit: I found it. Start at 15:00 for N'Gasta.
