Maormer for their physical attributes, the chameleon skin, their serpent-taming abilities, their deathless king, and Pyandonea. The Dreugh for their intelligence (but only as water Dreugh), underwater society, and the fact that they ruled the world in a previous kalpa with Molag Bal as their Chief. And finally the Sload because they might have airships (which no other race has, that we know of), and have you ever heard N'gasta talk? It's sublime. The Sload refer to themselves in the same way that the Khajiit do.
Edit: I found it. Start at 15:00 for N'Gasta.

Can't remember the name, but there is a race of monkey people that live in Valenwood that pretend they are elves, acting snooty and turning their noses up at humans, despite not having much in the way of intelligence.
That'd be kinda fun to play.

Yeah I recently did some research on N'Gasta myself, and it yielded some very interesting information. Sloads are often said to be very big, and the older they get, the fatter they get, to the point of being unable to move under their own weight unleas in water.
There's a chance that's all just negative propaganda against the sload, because not only is N'Gasta not big, he's TINY! Im talking wood elf height. And he's very old, but can still walk on land perfectly fine.
And like you said, he refers to himself as "this one" A LOT, just like khajiit oddly enough.
