STARTING TO HATE THIS GAME...

I have been playing this game from when it released on console. And I must say this has become my favorite game of all time... I know I will probably get flamed for this post but I feel like I need to say something for me and other players who feel like I do but I really dislike the PS4 NA endgame raiding scene. And before I start I'm not talking about your regular Craglorn PUG because in my experience, PUG'ing Vet or Normal Craglorn or even dlc normal raids is pretty enjoyable. You meet a lot of cool endgame players get some gear and lean the mechanics. But what really Makes me angry if I want to goto the next level and get my vmaw skin I have to pay 1.2 million?! Lmfao this *** is a joke, I was told by some players look up the leaderboards and message the players on there. So I did that (left a polite message saying that "I Main DPS I have a main Mag Soc and stam DK both able to hit 32k on a dummy with no cheese, and I have VMA gear etc) and I got only 2 responses back LOL . One player said we charge 1.2 million And another player said we need at least 38k dps... so I'm in craglorn on Friday and a cp 98 was running around with a Maw skin, idk what he did to get the skin but a couple of PS4 na elitist were there belittling him and excusing him of exploiting it. Like I said idk how he got the skin But the CP 98 guy made a great point, he told them "what you guys mad because I have the skin now and I can help others get it too? No one should have to pay 1.2 million for a skin" and I agree with that I just don't agree with exploiting the game. It's like a complete power trip with the top players on PS4 na. If I just want a skin not a score why can't I join if I can get 30k plus dps, know the game mechanics and will pull my own weight? it really feels like these players want you to digitally kiss there asses for [X] amount of months to even be thought of to get in one of these groups and that's just not me, I refuse to sit up and tell another player how OP he or she is to get my skin. I have seen this and it really disgusts me and really starting to make me hate this game.

ZOS I plead with you please make some type of content VMa so players can get their Vmaw skin VHOF skin etc. players should not have a monopoly on the end game raiding scene.

They just need a proper LFG interface (like FFXIV) where people can form their own groups for content.

From how I understand it on PC/NA, a good vet trials guild will both have a DPS requirement and help train you to reach that point.

Join a guild who have the same ideas and capabilities as you do yourself, and don't settle for just any guild. I've seen plenty of ps4 NA guilds advertise for members who are just like you...

He streams almost every day at 4 p.m. central, and 10 p.m. UK time. Listen to what he says about end game content, ask him a few questions. If you like what he has to say, he has guilds across all platforms on all 6 servers.
His EU ps4 guild is currently running vet hard mode trials with players of any CP. And they are successful. Reached leaderboards and got thier reward last week. Anyone who says you need to pay, or even need to be a certain cp level to do hard content is full of ***. Sure, cp helps, but it's not the end all be all of being able to successfully do content. Some, unfortunately, don't like to hear that. But it's absolutely true. As long as you follow mechanics, cp doesn't matter too much.
If Xynode isn't for you, keep an eye out for a guild that has the same goals as you do yourself. Pugging is rough for trying to accomplish what you want. You need like minded people.

Yeah, ignore the cancer, it exists in every MMO I have ever played. There will always be those select few elitists in the raiding/trials community.

There are plenty of decent guilds on the 4 servers on console. Keep looking and don't let those people get to you.

lol... Look for a group that isnt at the top to find a group to run with. People at the top ha e full reliable groups. Asking them tend to look like 'how much for a carry'. Ita like that in every MMORPG to date

I'll wear it when I earn it, I've run progressions through multiple guilds for the last couple months. I largely ignored vmol because I didn't have the time to commit to actually participating in a progression. At this point I don't even care about the skin, I just want to finish it from start to finish with the same group and no carries. I don't want a carry and I don't need a carry. But this process has highlighted exactly what you said, 3/4 of the population that has the skin can NOT complete the content, but they sure like to make you think you they can...

Anyways, I'll be back in there tomorrow night tankinh that *** Vashai again for the hundredth time. Wish me luck.

There is a way to get the skin without paying millions, simply find a guild to train with and work for the skin yourself. You can't expect experienced players to sacrifice their time pulling some random guy from the zonechat through vMOL. From my experience as a officer in a raiding guild I know that their are a lot of people who just wan't to get a easy skin with no further interest in raiding. As leading a raidgroup and training new players are a lot of work guilds are very cautious towards such players, hence why it takes some amount of work and commitment to get into a group and earn those skins, titles and stuff.

Hey guys I never asked to be carried I never said i wasn't willing to lean with a progression group, I'm just saying that I have never ran into a vmaw progression group that's actively helping players on PS4 na. Now that is MY singular experience while I have been playing this game, and it doesn't mean that anyone else experienced the same thing. Everyone I run into with a trial skin I ask them about their guild and tell them the dps numbers I'm pulling , gear I'm wearing etc and all I have been hearing is "MY GUILD DONT REALLY LIKE TO ADD NEW PLAYERS" OR "SORRY WE ARE NOT RECRUITING RIGHT NOW" im really tired of this.

On PC NA this wasn’t much different back when cp cap was 500~530. I decided to start my own guild full of mediocre players like mysef and did vMoL progression. Then we got many people like us their first vMoL skin. Folks that were only pulling 25k dps on a dummy. This is your best bet. I know it sounds rough but in reality the game isn’t the issue here, it is Your outlook and partly the community. But ZoS cannot buff the community or nerf toxicity. You need to go out and be the change you want to see, there are plenty of people who feel the way you do, so I imagine starting that guild won’t be that hard.

For those curious the guild I was the GM of was (“the order of the nerevarine”) we weren’t top tier and honestly were a group of ragtag sh###ers that beat content . It was messy , but we got it done and still had vMoL in a 1 hour completion once we got rolling. In no way score competitive but we got a lot folks there skins.

I didn't say you have bad intentions, however you have to start with people at your level. You just can't expect to get into top guilds with no experience and not enough DPS. For a group that goes for leaderboards taking you to vMOL is nothing else then carrying you through, no matter what your actual intentions are. Find a guild with players at your level and work from the bottom up.

Start or join a progression group and clear vMOL. That's how these things or done. Or, get your DPS up and join an existing core group.

It is how it is unfortunately, from my experience is the same on xbox Eu.

I stopped playing in September 2017 but at the time I was looking for a no drama guild to do vmol with, including progression guilds. I was at/near top 1% pulling 40k+ self buffed on multiple classes, had flawless vma on all classes (mag and stam), had all perfect gold gear etc, had a trails ready tank, I was equipped. Still couldn't find anything.

A trails guild I was in regularly doing hm craglorn trails but never attempt mol. Anyway 1 day a guy in the guild was looking for multiple dps for vmol run, I asked to join. He said no as only people who beat it were joining, he'd only beaten it once, he was not max cp, and on the roster his dps scores was barely 30k. Me with over 40k not allowed in. Anyway point is a few times things like this happens and it proves people are can be very petty for whatever reasons.

I advise you L2p, set up your own trial's core team and go for it.

It really sounds like that you just want participation's awards for content. You want stuff? Go for it, can't find a team? Set up one or get better and join other people's core. Nobody is obligated to carry your 32k dps toon around.

I'm on Xbox/NA. When I first joined my trials guild I was a CP265, playing in first person, and had no idea what I was doing. With their help I'm currently running in 2 progression groups, pushing 40k on my Stam, 30k on mag, and helping out lowbies with normal trials, gear, and rotation. It's all about who you play with.

On xbox eu I get messages from players often wanting to get into vmol and vhof runs, but its not that simple. I don't mind helping but I and a lot of others expect you to put the time and effort in. Just a couple days ago got a whisper from a guy on rakkhat, had been in there for almost 6hrs group gave up and left, I let my GM know had a group together in a few minutes and knocked it out for him.

You need a guild. You really do. Even if you manage to pull a PuG together it won't succeed (most likely)

You're gonna get charged/denied when not being in a guild trying to join their raid.

And quite frankly I think the guy asking for 38k was extremely nice. Essentially saying that you can join just need to be as good.

The only time I've completed these trials is with my guilds, I dare say, you'll have a more pleasurable time playing with a guild anyway

Agreed, but is what's more alarming is that 1. It's like players are scared to speak on it because there will be players to come out and attack them. Look at me for instance someone actually had the nerve to post that 30k DPS isn't enough to get a clear on vet dlc Trails.

What i have come to realize is that a lot of people have *** up real lives and ESO is their only outlet that they can feel important in. So if they have to deny players access to content it makes them feel like that manager that's always mentally abusing them at work. It's like ESO is full of a bunch of toxic ass Darwin Award winners on PS4 na. But what ever it's like I'm speaking French and players/people have grown to accept *** like this from others.

And I'm telling you guys on a bigger note if the endgame scene stays this way and ZOS doesn't balance out the end game rewards for players who can't just "FIND OTHER PLAYERS THAT CAN TRY 6HRS DAILY AND WHO CAN PLAY AT THE SAME TIME OF DAY AND BE THAT GOOD TO COMPLETE SAID CONTENT" , this game will die.

AND AGAIN FOR ALL THE DARWIN AWARD WINNERS IM NOT ASKING TO BE CARIED IM NOT ASKING PLAYERS TO CARRY OTHERS, IM JUST ASKING ZOS TO CREATE SOMETHING VMA LIKE SO THAT I CAN GO IN COMPLETE IT AND GET MY VMAW SKIN. THATS ALL

Also PS4 NA. That low cp actually is exploiting it, and has been selling the skins for half price. My guilds have been warning players about him and his group. There was a cp10 the other day literally with the name "MawSkins".

As for getting a skin, I'm going to be honest. People don't run progressions like they used to. Nowadays, if you aren't pulling the same weight as another team member you are a carry. Most of my group run 38k+. My recommendation is to get your dps up, and to ensure you have bis gear. Sometimes, patience is all you need. My first Mol run took six hours and weeks of practice. If you'd like, my PSN is the same as it is here. I might know of a guild that could help you.

Find a guild that does training runs. You'll likely wipe a ton on the Twins and have to stop for the day before you complete the whole trial, heck I've even been in groups that did awesome on Twins but couldn't beat Rakkhat (raid leader didn't wanna do Lunar Phase), but at least you'll be learning it with people at your speed (don't take offense to that, I'm at 32k myself and have completed vMoL twice out of quite a few times I've run it, but I'm not experienced enough to do core leaderboard runs.)
