Hyperbolic meta-chasers just parroting FUD, then the dust settles and everything is actually okay. Business as usual, post patch.

@Peekachu99 I figured it was some FOTM nonsense, when I was initially told how I was making a bad choice being a heavy armor MagDK. But like, this is crazy. So many people have switched from their glorious light armor builds to heavy armor. Even Blob made a heavy armor build variant for dragon bones.

Edit: Morning grammar is bad. Lol.

Blobeso has used heavy magdk builds for at least a year or two now. Just about everyone that streams has for that matter.

The switch back to heavy is because they gutted the ability to perma-block in light armor, again.

This reads as if that’s a bad thing, when in fact it’s proper design—tanky characters should be tanky as opposed to people wearing napkins (magically infused or not).

This is what you get for listening to meta-chasers who are unable to think for themselves and are all about the "optimal" build even though they are unlikely to be able to play it optimally.

Comrade, all is fine. I never deconstructed my gear, even though I was told to constantly. Lol. I mean, I never even deconstructed my Maelstrom Weapons that dropped for me in Infused and Nirnhoned. Why? Because I never knew if they’d be relevant in the future. Come to find out months later, they are considered best-in-slot. :D

The point of this thread was for me figuring out why so many of the people who chase after “the meta”, are flip-flopping so rapidly over something like Light Armor and Heavy Armor. Especially when a lot of these same people parroted how dramatically better 1 or the other was at the time.

I didn’t ignore the answer. I understood very well what you and others have replied. I was explaining to the other individual why it was that I created this thread is all. The reason behind me making it.

Ugh... Reading comprehension strikes again in 1 of my threads unfortunately. T_T

You may have read it, but you have ignored it, since every post after you are still asking the question.

A reason to switch to heavy is:

    Elf bane, spellweave, zaan. Funtimes.

Lol yeah, plz nerf, this really need a nerf. It is a fu-ck ton of pressure even for a magplar that runs very defensive setup, and i have no chance kill any good players in defensive setup.

Haha :D yeah :D People just read the title and make comments immediately... And "BiS" "FotM" changes each month are the case just for one type of people - who are making build like copy/paste, unfortunetly (or fortunetly!) they are the majority :)
I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.
