My Dragonknight is 36k. It was like 40, but I was not having significant troubles even in pretty bad groups on vet content so I swapped enchantments. If I was more responsible about blocking I think I could go lower. I tend to rather enjoy punching the bosses around, laughing, and healing off their hits.

That depends a lot on the content you're doing. Some bosses hit pretty hard even trough block. For example the Earthgore Amalgam will hit for 15K+ even if you are blocking, you have plenty of CP allocated and nearly capped resistance, so I consider 35K to be the bare minimum in that fight if you want to pull trough.

Thanks for the input. I'm been running random vets since I got appropriate tho just purple gear for her. I don't think I've fought that one. Sounds like I should stick to 35+ for now. That is actually what I was aiming for when I last respeccd, I forget where I accidentally got the extra 1k.

And hope you don't, if you are with a random group. It's in a DLC dungeon, Bloodroot Forge, and it's very tough on vet. Only the newer dungeons from Dragon Bones patch are tougher.

Just under 40k health before food. Nightblade abilities help, almost all points are put into health, and armor boosts health (although it will be higher after I complete a gold set). Only reason I focus so heavily on health is for abilities based off max health and no want for higher damage or spammable abilities. High recovery means I don't need as big a pool to pull from for stamina or magicka abilities either.

Nightblades have no abilities that scale off max health, you would be better served with higher magicka to make your heals more powerful.

Not talking about nightblade abilities. Everyone always seems to forget that there are abilities every class has access to.

I expect that he got caught by the slight of hand since you were speaking of your nightblade abilities help when you were actually meaning the NB passives help with your max health.

Still would be a more complete reply you mentioned the skills you were meaning. Ofc I assume you are speaking of bone shield which I suppose a NB tank would use. Balance came to mind but that is used by tanks with much lower health than you mentioned.

Specifically spiked bone shield and my tendency to run with a warden in my group, yes, in addiotion to lack of abilities that benefit from higher magicka or stamina to a noticable degree.
