i enjoy farming mats, world bosses, and chests all at the same time in non-dlc zones with good amounts of farming nodes. I choose zones with high priced sets that sell high with the right traits.
you can make your own routes between world bosses where you can farm mats and chests along the way. most of the time there are world boss groups in these zones that are already fighting them so you can still get the loot even if the boss is at 25% health when you start combat.
for example, i created my own route between world bosses in rivenspire. there are so many mats and chests along the way where you can not only earn money off your mats but also can earn money off of high priced item sets that drops from WB's. In addition, you have the potential to pick up atherial dust since its in a non-dlc zone. and if you are really lucky and hit the rng lottery you can get atheric cipher.
also if you like dolmens (which i don't) you can get some purple jewelry from those high priced sets. purple jewelry also drops sometimes from those random daedric portals that open up in the field so they are also worth farming along the way.
You'll probably get more helpful answers if you take the time to write a complete sentence. Some people see this and think, "The OP doesn't even care enough to write out a complete sentence, so I'll only spend a few seconds answering the question."
- Buy stuff that sells way below MM price, sell it for MM price. You should join some good trading guilds to make it work.
- PvP. BG works well this patch too. You can buy motifs for 250K AP that sells 60K+.
I sell certified preowned insightfuls in the Stormhaven back alleys, and then use the revenue to invest in a diverse portfolio of essential services and goods producers so that I am relatively immune to short-term market fluctuations.
