Hello! I was wondering if anyone (or even ZOS) offers a way to move my TESO from Steam to just a regular stand-alone application or is it a once-with-Steam-stuck-with-Steam? Thanks!

Some years ago, I signed up for the Beta (have the monkey to prove it) and life stuff required that I do other things at the time and only last year did I see ESO for sale and it was through Steam. I'd never used Steam before (and wish I hadn't). I'm wondering if maybe ZOS still has my original sign-up/Beta information or something and there's some way to transfer over.PC/ NA

You bought it and it's recorded in the ESO store that you bought it. There shouldnt be an issue.

That's why I refuse to go through Steam unless there is no other choice, and even then I consider not even buying it. Steam is a complete garbage company.

You bought it and it's recorded in the ESO store that you bought it. There shouldnt be an issue.

No can do. Dug up my old ESO Beta login info and logged in. The only download showing is the PTS. I went to "Manage Membership" and it says: "ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE

That is correct. I just tried logging in bypassing steam and it told me I had an invalid username/password. So this means I would have to create a new account?0 -

I tried the bypass to log in without steam, it always gives me a "wrong account name or password" error.

It might be related to the issue people are having with ESO64. It sounds like anyone that bought the game after 11/16/2016 can't login other than on steam.0 -
Lirkin✭✭✭✭Newer Steam users can't login without steam even if you download the game again. The login information is hidden from you and it is not the same as you Steam login.1

Ostacia✭✭✭✭✭^ I bought the game November 22, 2013 and can't login other than on Steam. I downloaded the Beta and might've messed around in character creation some...my memory is awful, but yeah. So it must be something else.
Maybe the ZOS people could write the Steam people and simply say something like: We have some customers that would like to migrate their accounts from Steam to ZOS. How can we work with you to make this happen?

Lirkin✭✭✭✭Steam doesn't wants you to login through them so I doubt that they will help or change things. They want you to buy your games and such through them and probably get a cut of any sales you make.3
