    Yeap it's been 5 mins already. I cant log in. I closed the game, relaunched steam, restarted my modem but still the same error.

    One more. PC NA, can patch, click play, get error. Internet is working fine for other games/sites.

    GM of Imperial Gold Reserve trading guild (started in 2017) since 2/2022
    Come visit Karth's Glitter Box, Khajiit's home. Fully stocked guild hall done in sleek Khajiit stylings, with Grand Master Stations, Transmute, Scribing, Trial Dummies, etc. Also has 2 full bowling alleys, nightclub, and floating maze over Wrothgar.

    Yes, since 20 mins ago, repair didn't do anything. At least I know it's not just me, ty :s
    PC NA, Steam client, but can't connect to EU either.

    I got the same error, but I was too shy to start a thread about it! My in game @ name is @EttinTheBreton and I'm on PC NA.

    I do play ESO through Steam.

    Are all of you guys coming in via Steam? Because I was just over there on an unrelated issue and it's bog slow.

    If your using Steam, try this:

    Disable Auto Login
    Use the ESO64.EXE or a shortcut you place on your desktop to launch the game (not the Launcher)
    You still need Steam Running, but your bypassing the Steam authentication wrapper

    I do believe you might be onto something here. I just tried to load a page in steam and it couldn't connect to the steam servers.

    And this one smacked me upside the head over on Steam. Something wonky going on there. Hope it gets resolved soon!

    Seems it's a Steam issue. I can't connect via Steam, but can/did via regular launcher (second account)

    i did this and while i was able to log in, my plus membership was gone, which is screwed up, just paid for 6 months 3 weeks ago. there's something scrambled on their end.

    Here's the location of the game itself: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Zenimax Online\The Elder Scrolls Online\game\client

    Or once you get into the steamapps folder, searching for "ESO64" should bring it right up. Beware, all your settings will be brought back to default, but we can play :)

    lol I think this is beyond my extremely limited computer skills as I just keep getting a message saying log in via steam.

    Log in to Steam, leave it open. Then launch separately the eso64 file.
