I see it's also based on the skinnier horse model, whose back legs look worse than the regular horse model. It's a shame that if we want horses, we're forced to have ones with open mouths, and weird back legs.
The painting looks wonderful, though, and the detail on the mane and tail is amazing, too.

✭I've never actually bought a super expensive mount from the crown store but this is the first I am considering.
I like the effects and the overall theme my only critique is the braids in the Mount's mane and tail make it look very ♪My Little Pony♪... I'd much rather it be long and flowing like... well, the little pony. LOL
I would still like to see the Great Elk mount make a Return... I may hold out for that!1 -

I bought both the pet and the mount and made a quick video of them. First part is with all mount upgrades hidden, at 1:00 you can see the horse with all upgrades visible though.
They sparkle and leave golden glowing footprints on soft underground, and they make a "sparkle"-sound, don't know how to describe that.
The saddlebags are strangely and pleassingly unobtrusive for once. A good model for mount hipflap reform.
Also, I had no intention of getting that horsey til I saw the sparkles. I might just have to get that now. It is... almost a rainbow-farting pony. I might actually be returning to pvp just so I can ride that around.0 -

That's the new standard now? Every mount will have to have some kind of glowing animation on or around it. Not every mount needs to glow yo be great. I thought the horses were beautiful until I saw the sparkles.4

I noticed both in this video and on mine when I bought it that it doesn't appear to have a stamina visual upgrade. Is this a bug or intended? ✭@ZOS this is my feedback:- Bought both the horse and pony.
- The horse is way too expensive and that price surely discouraged some users but at least the model is very detailed, nice overall (textures, sound, sparkling effect, all nicely done).
- I still prefer the old horse model (bulky horse) and since many players still run around with old horses (I'm not alone), please release something nice also with the old model (like the Witch horse for example, detailed and interesting).
- Please ZOS, consider releasing horse armor, they may be overpriced but we ain't going to abandon our beloved old horsey anyways, so make more money and give us armor to apply to them in various styles, it would be fantastic.

Yes, this is not Oblivion (single game with infinite possibilities with mods), in that case was insulting to offer that DLC.
Horse armor would be welcome as crappy costumes are (let's be honest, for the most part they are crappy) because we have no mods, just what the store offers.
Same for adornments, tattos and all the items no one would buy if mods would exists.
Horse armor in this case is very welcome
