Like all other nice lorefriendly stuff it woldnt be released "because on PvP....." issues. All crapy stuff in game goes from "because in PvP..." and not only in TESO. Looks like only arenanet unlocked technology of PvP/PvE separating with fully stanalone PvP build with fixed stats and bonuses of your choise so even 1lvl alt have same stats as top lvl main character as should be, kuz we are not corean where gear and donate-enchants determinating winners.

Using Spellcrafting in Cyro...People with Chapter against who don't have it... hmmm...I will hear screams of PtW...

It's highly doubtful that with the new chapter, spellcrafting would be only for those who bought it. It's like the outfit system and dragon bones. Everyone gets the outfit system, but only those who pay for it get the dungeons.

Not sure about this. I understand the problem with P2P Spellcrafting but I don't see it as a basic feature, it's too much work and too complex. As I already said I think Spellcrafting will be the Warden of Chapter II. If you want it buy it.

I disagree. From what we know about the Spellcrafting System, it will be tied to the Mages Guild and thus be part of base game.
The system as they have it now would be Very Hard to lock behind a pay wall IMO.

Why should it be tied to the Mages' Guild? Never heard that.

Did you watch the QuakeCon Video and the Play through of the Spellcrafting System?
You must not have as Konkle shows and states that the spell to locate the lost tablet rooms starts in Eyevea after finishing the Mage Guild Quest line. Here it is again since you missed it.

You could still buy spells from those who have the chapter/DLC, just like you can buy gear from DLC areas right now.
Seems pretty simple to lock behind a pay wall tbh. Just put the spellcrafting station in the DLC area like the transmutation station in Clockwork City, for example.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

I watched the video several months ago. And even then that doesn't mean that it must be part of the core game. I'd love to see it as a part of basic ESO but I highly doubt it. Chapter II needs a huge feature and Spellcrafting would fit perfectly (and fit perfectly into the rumoured setting of Summerset).
