There is section called Public Test Section and it exist for people who bother testing, if people wana create fanfics - there is entire eso forum sections outside of pts.

There are 5 troll threads about DK on the front page now, and the other few are ranty. Please stop. I want the class to be good but this isn't really going to fix anything if we don't give feedback. They will see a lot of DK threads, and then change something inane and break it further.

If one of the forum mods could move all the troll/whine threads to a more appropiate forum section it would be great.
I hate nerfs as much as the next person, but making a billion troll posts in hope of pressuring the devs to change their minds is definetly not the way to go.
The dev team has been getting more and more transparent, first when they added dev notes to the patch notes, and now with the combat update threads. Last thing we need from them is to pull back on all that just beacuse a couple of ppl decided to be toxic.
If i was @ZOS_Wrobel, and ive read some of these posts, i wouldnt want to share my ideas and the reasoning behind balance changes either.
On the other side of things i really wish you zos guys listened to some of the feedback and heeded the advice given by people that most likely spend more time testing your game than you do.
I think things have been getting slightly better in terms of listening to feedback on bugs, but when it comes to balance changes, it often feels like the devs and the playerbase are playing a completely different game.
My phones autocorrect hates me so any mispelling you can blame in android.

I helped do a little PTS testing in the Templar thread but the thread is (IMO) rudely titled ("Fix Templar") but that got multiple responses not even a day after each issue was discussed and yet the DK thread has a straightforward title with the patch number and discusses things from known bugs still present, to bugs just discovered such as the healing tooltip and duration not mentioned at all in patch notes, and more.

If DK can't draw the attention of the developers that way, then DK players can complain all they want to.

Don't give me this "don't be rude or you deserve to be ignored" attitude, because it's due to being ignored from the get-go that the attitude spawned in the first place.

Those are Templar bugs that have been around for nearly a year, vs something that has been on the PTS for under a week.

In Jan combat update they seem to be reevaluating off balance. It seems like it'd probably be pve focused, but might still change lash.

PvP isn't as drastically affected as 8+ threads say.
You might have some dodged whips but get much higher exploiter, a stun, and more common whips. (consistent 3s vs 5s and interrupts/lightnings)

Doesn't change my opinion that the class as whole lacks a lot that other classes have such as class based defences, an execute (not super necessary but still) mobility (not fast, but not forced into mist or fm, else be snared 70% near constantly) and sustain.

They are consitently getting nerfed because they have been consistently been overperforming in certain aspects.

1.6 and prior magicka DK dominated PvP and wiped entire zergs with eternal Bat Swarm spam or Banner plus unremovable Talon spam. Magicka DKs back then claimed it was a matter of people just needing to learn to counter them aswell.

Which is better? That they little by little tone down an overperforming class to carefully monitor the changes of said minor changes or that they just nerf the class to the ground and then spend the next many patches repairing it?

Let me give you a hint:

First scenario is happening to DKs and second scenario happened to Templars in beta - and have since then been the worst solo / 1vX class.

Be happy with what you got or provide constructive feedback.

There's a difference between bugs and class balance - and I am glad that ZOS is proritizing fixing game breaking bugs for one class instead of investing developement time on minor balance changes for another class.

Okay, ignoring my personal opinion about how overblown this entire issue has really gotten - I must say...
5 extra bag space isn't a whole lot, honestly - And a 5% increase to research speed? Come on, at least give us something to work with!
Buff that to a 10% minimum.
Add on an extra 5% chance to get double resources at a node, and maybe you have something going.

Ohh, wait, great idea - 50% faster crafting speed! Making food will be so much faster that way! Love it..

So PTS templar threads are extremely detailed and list out all the math and every issue and broken templar skill in detail.
DK threads use drama and humor.

Both are interesting strategies. I wonder which squeaky wheel will get the grease.

Lol flaming beard is right, that’s why the majority of magdk players on forums are trolling. We have been patient time after time without trolling, and after seeing Zos respond so quickly to Templar threads, it’s basically [snip] it at this point. Also how dare you say minor balance changes lol.
