I'm running 5 Julianos, 2 Ilambris, 3 Willpower, 2 gold staves.
I'm not the highest DPS out there, but I think it's above average for my PUG lifestyle.

The reality is that since Morrowind, there are a lot more gear combos that will essentially pull the same DPS than there used to be.2 -

Yes sets seem a lot closer now and it seems to be about adjusting your other specs around what the set you are wearing lacks to get the best balance of stats, damage, pen, traits, etc.
