I PVP'd for my firs time yesterday, went in on my Magicka warden. Killed a number of people hanging out on the edge of a keep with my cliff racers, or people dumping oil. I would like to think that I made someone rage with my cliff racers. Feels good, I think I will do the same today.
Bird needs to be dodgable and reflectable. Its damage is fine IMO.
The 1 at a time idea sounded cool, but won't work since its a spammable.
Its literally the ONLY ranged attack that can not be dodged and reflected, it is the ONLY ability a pure ranged stamina build can use to damage reflect spammers and miat users.
Seriously?
There are only a small handful of players that make Wardens as damage dealers viable in pvp and they are probably using macro's, animation cancelling and every other trick in the book to do so.
Cliff racers are so easy to avoid, it's amusing.

And you think that is how it should be?
No.
That is why medium sucks, why wings suck, because crap tier players feel like they should always get free damage and can't be outplayed. Sure, miats bad, yada yada, I think everyone on the forums knows your stance. Its getting changed. So, answer this. Why after miats is gone, should an ability ignore 2 key counters that other projectiles have, making it as bad as a proc set.
As far as I am concerned. Once miats is gone, if you can't land a projectile hit, you have done something wrong.
Also, warden wings can absorb it.
We MUST NERF wildlife.
I was walking along the other day and I got quite near to a rabbit. You should have seen the way it looked at me, the furry little ***! I felt really hurt and have probably been psychologically damaged. PVPers don’t have to put up with wildlife - why should we?
So, yeah, just nerf them already! Man, my civil rights have probably been violated or something.......

So you think archer builds should not be able to damage people with reflect or dodge at all? Good to know. Wings should counter SOME things, it should not counter every damned ranged attack out there. Also, absorbing an attack is different than reflecting. Reflecting an animal would just be ridiculous. I would be ok with absorbing part of the damage, but not all, it is a summon in essence after all.
Also, calling people crap tier players, and then wanting to be 100% immune to all ranged attacks is pot calling kettle.
This. It's one of their only good abilities. If you kill it, wardens will become nearly useless.Sheezabeast wrote: »Its one of like 2 offensive abilities Wardens can do...if you have to nerf it, make it just be blockable...Wardens are lacking in abilities.

No, I am saying that dodging/reflecting should actually function on the set of attacks it was meant to function. Reflect only works on projectiles, not any ranged ability. Beams, dots, AoEs, ultimates etc are not included. Same with dodge, dots, ground based etc. Things like CCs, surprise, timing or brute force etc can be used. Because it is impossible to keep reflect/dodge up forever.
And if you can't deal with them, then too bad. You shouldn't be given it for free. Its like giving a class built in shield breaker.
On the logic side. OK, so birdy is an animal, so it can't be dodged or pushed back, but a can be conjured out of someones power to run and swing a sword, and can for some reason be absorbed by a magic block of ice and turned into mag... But nope, can't be dodged... I mean, i'd probably be able to dodge a pigeon irl. So...
Selective logic is NOT an excuse for ***, unbalanced and unfair hard counters.
EDIT: ignore the deleted bit if you see it, it was wrong person.
