Seriously i get so bummed whenever i get and put on a good set only to see gaudy elbow and knee pads that float off your limbs. Farmed Darkshade for Automaton, put on either the bracers or boots, both have floating pads. But since now were actually getting Transmog in a couple months, there will be no need for the dev team to go back and correct all the affected armor styles, cause we can just change the style ourselves instead to a style that doesnt have those issues.
So...guess they're fixing the floating issues one way or another?
Hope this Transmog system isnt costly somehow.
Transmog will let you change style on gear so you can change an set into any crafted style.Seriously i get so bummed whenever i get and put on a good set only to see gaudy elbow and knee pads that float off your limbs. Basically, you can create Costumes through the Motif pages that you know.

If your presence generated gravity the pads would be pressed harder onto your figure, not repelled.

Well, by the way, I think that's a great idea! Let's see when they release the first patch note.

I feel that it would take away from the game and make having certain pieces of armor not special anymore if everyone is running around wearing the coolest looking armor. IDK maybe it is just me.

I think you're really wrong about this. Many, many players have been asking for transmog since the the game LAUNCHED. People hate wearing ugly armor!

Sorry if my words are short. I don't speak fluent english. Anyway... Yes, I'm talking about Collections UI! Look at the data mining image, on the first line.: "Collectible Category: Outfit Style". Because it's an appearance system, the Outfit Style system will probably be in "Collections > Appearance". I call it "Costume-making" because it reminds me. The difference is that the Costumes are made by Zenimax. Yes, it will probably be a piece-by-piece system. It's the most logical thing! I mean, that's what I expect! Data mining doesnt specify this. About you wearing full light armor, and your appearance being heavy, I don't think that's possible. If you create a Dark Brotherhood Medium Gloves, the Motif's appearance will be that of the medium version. Right?
If Zenimax is reading this, based on the data ming, I expect the following:That's it for now. As soon as they release the official patch note, I will have a better opinion.
- Is Costume-making real? I liked! I don't like the idea of having to transfer all the gear (from all my chars) to the crafter, so he can change the styles. So yes! I liked the idea of creating a Costume (or Outfit Style), giving it a name and "save" so that another character can use it.
- Is there an initial limit to how many Outfit Styles I can create? Initially and for free, I want to create at least 10! "8" because of the initial amount of characters I can create, plus "2" for tank and healer builds. Then 10 is the minimum!
- No grind. Motif grind is enough (and expensive)!
- Set the style piece-by-piece (head, shoulders, chest, gloves, legs, waist, feet, weapons etc)
