(5 items) Increases the potency and reduces the cooldown of your weapon's enchantment.

Do you agree that ZOS should change the Spell Damage bonus to Physical Resistance?

After the nerf of Master Sword it really doesn't matter now.

Torug is useful for DPS, too.

The original 4p bonus was Weapon Damage, actually.

Adding physical resist is great but should go a step further for a unique multi-spec utility set -

    (2) Phys & Spell Resist
    (3) Health
    (4) Reduce all ability costs by 1%
    (5) Current effect

If you want to make it more viable for multiple builds without hurting current users, simply add weapon damage to the spell damage bonus.

Mathematically the sets only beats other DPS sets if you have 3-4 weapon enchants. Since double dual wield is not a viable build, the main options here are DW+Bow or DW+ Destro. Spell damage does nothing for the DW+Bow stam DPS so that build would prefer Resistance.

As for DW+Destro, the one class I have tried this on with Torugs (MagDK) saw massive DPS loss compared to other DPS sets because there was no reliable way to proc the off-hand weapon frequently enough to require Torugs pact. Combine that with the fact that dual wield cannot compete with Destro for Magicka DPS in PVE, and Torugs is not the best choice.

That leaves PVP and Tanking, both which would benefit from resistance. And this would make the set equally effective for stam and Magicka. If it sounds too weak as a hybrid set, maybe a slight buff to the 5-piece would be justified.

Changing the 30% magnitude increase to 40-45% (without affecting cooldown) would make Torugs Infused Crusher about the same value as Alkosh for single target debuffing, allowing easier swaps between the 2 without requiring groups to change CPs in Piercing or Spell Erosion. Alkosh would still outperform for AoE or if combined with any form of Crusher.

The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th set bonuses are irrelevant statistics for a solidly built tank.
The change you're suggesting shouldn't even be noticeable in application.

This set is fine as a Magicka oriented set. No need to turn this into another proc set for Stam users, who already have an embarrassment of riches.

Last time I've seen anyone use a proc set was back before Horns of the Reach was released. That was almsot 5 months ago.

This has been my favourite set for a while now simply because I use it for both pve and pvp having only one toon it's really versatile but I don't know about changing it

    Poisonous serpent is insanely strong.

Also, enchants can crit, which makes Torugs an appealing proc set choice

Is there another 2pc spell damage craft set? Losing that will sink crafted bonuses compared to dropped even more.

Absolutely not. That’s a powerful bonus atm.

I would support changing that Spell Damage into a Weapon Damage AND Spell Damage bonus though. It’d make the set more open to use.

Not every 2-4 piece set needs to be all stamina oriented, magicka oriented or tank oriented.
