I agree. I've done the quest on a max level character that already has all skill lines leveled, so the scroll is completely useless for me. If it was bankable I could've used it for an alt at least.

It must have been a bug because I tried several times to bank them and no go. I don't have any addons that would affect riding skills......I only have skyshards, lorebooks, destinations and rare fish tracker. And they were pages not the full book. Next time we get free crates I will try again and see what happens.

This is not a bug. This is not an oversight. This is intentional, for the same reason the gold amnesty pardon from the Thieves Guild questline is character-bound instead of account-bound.

Also, you got the 150%? You monster. Should've saved Luciana and gotten the 100% instead.

The problem is that the amnesty scroll can be useful to a high level character. The XP scroll isn't. It's like getting an unbankable intricate item on a master crafter.

Yes, save Luciana and you only get 100%, be selfish and she die but you get the 150% one.

How would the bonus being bankable break the game? It's not even worth the time to grind out the bonus. I bet the time it would spend you to get the codex would cause a net xp loss because you could've spent that time getting Skyreach runs on a regular Ambrosia that cost you 3.5k or less.

The fact is that it was a poorly designed reward because it means nothing to the most loyal players, those of us who already have max CP. It's insulting they didn't make it bankable. No joke I would've rather gotten nothing at all except a skill point as a reward because this **** just pissed me off when I couldn't put it into the bank.

OP, wait until you have full enlightened, use scroll and do just dailies as fast as possible until the scroll runs out. Should get you at least 2-3 CP.

Unless you have 3600 CP, no your main is not "literally maxed."

It's maxed as far I can use it. And I have 890 cp. I could quit the game for 2 years and still be a max available cp. Not really relevant.

I get that you would like to use it on an alt leveling from 1-50... I would too. But your CP 890 main can still benefit from it small though that benefit might be.

I forgot it exists. But at least it makes sense that you can't send this particular reward to another char: it's XP, not a material reward.

I personally have been here since Beta a character locked XP bonus does me nothing on my main I have literally every skill maxed all class skills and morph were tested and tried at one point or another. My main had been a rogue, mage and tank so all Armor is maxed out, all weapons and with PvE and PvP skill points I literally have all four stamina weapons FULL crafting as my main is also my crafter.

As the cherry on the top I have so many skill points not only do I have class and all stamina weapons fully unlock I maxed out Snake Blood cause I had nothing else to do with the points. If you’re maxed out on skills and pass CP cap this is completely worthless for you.

I don’t pretend to know the number of players at and pass CP cap but we all know it’s a large number so why not have a “reward” that does nothing for a large part of the player base.

That's pretty much me for my main. He has been a stam dps, tank and currently mag dps. He has done every skill point quest in the game, every dungeon and delve, and has every skyshard. The only thing he hasn't done is make it to Grand Overlord in PVP. There is nothing to level on him. I know it's only scroll, but it's the thought...or lack thereof on ZOS's part. I hardly make new characters. I'm on my 6th, and likely last. I can't stand the grind for an end game character.

Once you have a skill point to put in Snake Blood that’s the end of the road I have 14 characters and only my main has done the main quest line. ZoS made the game fully playable on one character and now 3 years later they want to made each character have to do the quest. And make the rewards useless to veterans.

Sad truth if you are 30 points above max and you just play the game normally you will never fall under the max

That's true for almost all quest rewards in this game? Do Cadwell's Gold. Unlock a hat! ... That you had already unlocked a year ago on another toon.

Do CwC story line. Get an XP boost! To level the skills you already maxed out a year ago.

Also, I have several dozen master writs that I'm planning to do in two days when the XP event starts. Even though my main crafter is maxed in all skills and I have 1063 CP. Because even though that CP is useless to me, bigger numbers look slightly prettier. I mean, I won't bend over backwards to get more CP, but when I see my peers with 1100, 1200 or 1300 CP, getting a bit more wouldn't be a bad thing.

Maybe 7ish hr skipping everything on a build like NB cloaking some stuff. 1hr you can make 30kj+ easily and that can buy an ambrosia. Scroll lasts 2hr, pot lasts 30min. Can grind out the costs in maybe around 3hr, less if you find rare motifs or trade etc.
