To me the whole pet thing is a waste of crowns. The only pets I have in my collection section are those given out for free and I don't use any of them.

I'm buying everything remotely wolf-y I can get. But the skelettal wolf pet did not look like a wolf (zombie, dead or alive) at all.
And I'm not too much into gambling so I'm buying one 15-crates-set each season and if I didn't get any mounts or cool stuff out of these (that happens more often than not, I have to admit), I move on without buying any more crates for this season.

I bought just a single crate hoping to get the badger. I didn't, but oh well. I love skeletons, but I really did not like THESE skeletons because of the weird red glowing eyes and gross fleshy bits.

Nope because I refuse to spend money on crates so anything inside crates I just don't care about. Some might be cool items but F! the crates! I only open the free crates that ZOS gives me, otherwise I would never have touched them.

These are probably the least interesting pets they've produced for me. I don't like skeletons as an aesthetic, I don't buy crown crates so I don't have any of the mounts and I've never felt the need to buy all the babies to match my mounts. (I have the white wolf pup and I would have gotten the clouded senche-leopard if they'd actually sold it instead of putting it in the crates, but that's all.)

I do like the idea of being able to get a baby to match my mounts, but not to the point where I'd feel compelled to buy them for all the mounts I have, even if that was an option. (And since it's not an option I'm even less inclined to do it - no sense in going after a complete set that cannot be completed.)

They look bad IMO. I never bought mounts of pets off crown store directly but I did receive them indirectly by buying DLCs

In principle, I am not against Crown Crates but neither do a buy them, nor do I waste my ESO+ Crowns on them. I only open any free Crates that come my way because otherwise they would be wasted.

I personally do not like the Skeletal mounts so even if I was unfortunate enough to receive one in a Free Crate, I would be slightly disappointed because I could not trade it in for Gems. Hey, but each to their own.

In light of the above, the answer to the Poll would be; "No, I would not be compelled in any way to collect a matching Skeletal pet."

I do however acquire the odd pet from the Crown Store. For example the Black Valentine's Day Cat - with the red collar. It was absolutely perfect for my beautiful, Nord Sorceress with the Duchess personality. The cat, with red collar, matches her High Collared Ball Gown, with Daedric Red underskirt and camisole - accessorised and trimmed in pure gold.

The Cat is called Merlin and purrs contentedly at her side, wherever she goes.

but I wish they bring the Wild Hunt Mounts back though...
