    Wayshrines should be removed entirely.

Lol that is really bizarre, if you want such a system gone completely.

That aside, I don't understand why it costs money. Imagine people who have just started on the game spending their money on wayshrine costs not knowing they can do it for free. This would also make some houses better as they are really far away from a wayshrine.

EDIT: Wow, this post got necro'd hard.

Forced exploration is good for new players. If you want to remove it once a player has reached CP level, I'm fine with that.

    Other, my thoughts are...
I'd like the cost for using shrines to not increase when you use it after x minutes

I'd prefer the first one to be free, I'm cheap so I always look for a guildie first.

Gold port = money sink. I probably spent 2k on gold ports today.

I just port to other players in my guilds that are in the zone, I check the box that hides offline player's then select zone so its alphabetical order and just port for free constantly. Its annoying to have to port twice as you usually don't end up at the exact wayshrine you want to be at...

There are so many gold sucking systems in game now I believe its time this one went bye bye... Since its bypassed so easily anyways.

It's a waste of spaghetti code. Instead remove the cost, but have a 25% chance you get dropped from the sky because Uncle Sheo demands it.

I am pretty sure everyone is already traveling via social porting or their own houses. Just remove the cost so players can use wayshrines too.

I voted It should keep the costs because this game should have gold sinks. without them you de-value the gold you get in game to the point of uselessness.
As long as there is a decent enough gold sink in the game to balance the insane amount of gold players generate together. the gold value stays useful and so keeps its value.

One awesome gold sink in this game are the gold costs of trading posts locations. Its cost is what keeps gold its value.
In fact imo the costs of waypoints should go up for players with level 50 and up characters. More gold removed means what gold is left is worth more.

Yes. And (evil thought) they could probably add it as an extra incentive for ESO Plus.

Pretty much what everyone else is saying. If I'm skyshard hunting in delves, ill just suicide once I get the shard to get to the front door, then head back out and continue my walk around the map. If I'm leading a guild event to get skyshards, one of us will be porting to wayshrines for free whilst the rest of us port to them, then I lead the others to the shards whilst the wayshrine hopper stays at the shrine.

The only cost I feel should be removed is the incremental increase after the first jump.

Most of the time youre within 20 seconds from a wayshrine. If you dont want to pay the fee run there.

It should be removed for ESO+ members. This is a benefit that TSW offered to subs. Should be the same in this game.
