Is Essence Thief still hopelessly clunky?

Yep. I tested it on the CWC pts and it was miserable. They should just make the essence come to you, or have it be attached to you like an orb on Rakkhat. And then restore a decent amount of health and resources while granting you the buff.

Yep, this is 1.5 year + bugged set. Those are one of the cases when zos just "listening to you"
