ESO has lots of cults. Dragon, Worm, Daedric, etc.
I've gotten used to being bombarded by their propaganda. Just ignore it and move along.
Except that ESO+ Is the best value for money of any product on the crown store, except maybe the Adventurer Pack. Not "picking on you" or "ganging up on you", but those people in zone chat were probably right and giving you valid information, you dont have to react poorly to it.
I said 7 times I didn't want it and they kept going, that's not friendly advice, that's forcing their opinion on me. I heard their preaching, you don't need to join them telling me how much of a great deal it is. I DON"T WANT IT! Is that clear enough? I said that and they still continued, they did not care, they just wanted to force me into their ways.
Who even does that? We have crown sales and larger crown packs for a reason. Compare ESO+ to the actual spending habits of people without it, not to the price of something hardly anyone buys.you can spend $15 (no sale) for 1500 crowns
Simple math.I simply dont understand why you would just buy the dlcs. What are they, like 30 euro each? Thats 150 euro for all of them or so, when you could simply pay 12 euro a month : shrug :

HOWEVER the game would be damn near unplayable without the craft bag, the 1500 crowns a month are useful, and the 10% research time reduction is decent... furthermore there’s access to the dlcs and the Double bank is really nice.
IF I didn’t have the stuff I get with the sub the game would be miserable and I wouldn’t play at all ...
So for now I’m passing time til a good game comes out and the $10/month or whatever makes this one somewhat playable SO pay up and stop being a cheap [snip].

Also that meme lol

Quite glad I‘ll never meet you in real life.
It's wrong for people to give you grief, but for most players its so beneficial it seems madness not to have it.
If you are a crafter the bag is a 100% must. That alone sells it, if you into housing the extra items are needed, bank space too. If you play all zones its a cheaper way to get latest content.
Personally I think of it as £9 for 1500 crowns and the rest is free.
I did buy Imp City at the start and like you felt I would never sub, but that bag is too good. And many zones I've been let down by except Imp City & Wrothgar so I'm glad I didn't buy them stand alone.
No one needs to get shirty with you, but talking benefits makes.sense as many dont know

You can actually buy or use a friends transumate stations. Some guilds have one too. They are for changing traits to items.
starkerealm wrote: »@coop500, for what it's worth, you can get a transmutation station for your stuff from the Rolis Hlaalu. The downside is, this does require you're doing master writs, and that you've been doing enough to earn the 1250 vouchers, the station costs. But, once you get over that hurdle, you can have a transmutation workbench in your home, without spending real money.
Also, one you can port to quickly and painlessly.
As a couple other people in the thread have pointed out, some trade guilds are moving to put stations into their guild halls. At this point, I really wish we could have officially designated guild halls, that guild members could contribute items to. But, here we are.
Wanders off to the weekly ESO+ cult meeting, to advocate the destruction of all heretics.
you can spend $15 (no sale) for 1500 crowns
OR
you can spend $15 on ESO+ and get 1500 crowns. . .
and
-access to all DLC
-craft bag with unlimited storage that's account wide
-double bank space account wide
-10% more just about everything (xp, gold, crafting inspiration)
-double housing space
-the ability to dye costumes
I get that some people don't want ESO plus, that's fine.
but trying to hate on in when the value for money is amazing? I know people that sub for ESO plus and log on maybe once a month, they sub because they still get the value in crowns and when they log on have like 4k waiting for them.
OP if you just stopped responding to them they probably would have stopped. For some reason I feel like this story isn't the complete story.

All the power to you for wanting to pay, but I have zero obligation to pay just because you can't play without it, so no I won't pay up and stop being a cheap [snip]. Not paying is harder than paying, I'm a crafter in all departments and it's not easy management, but I do it because I'm stubborn and the game gave us the ability to do so with patience.

Hey @coop500, @lordrichter is absolutely right about that. I‘m sorry if I made you think I were addressing you. That wasn‘t in my intention.lordrichter wrote: »Chronicburn wrote: »I don’t even really like this game ... all nerfs, no ah, crappy housing... I could go on ...

@coop500 ... @boggo wasn't directing this at you, unless you were intending to defend or agree with the guy who doesn't really like the game, brings up wasting money on starving kids, and tries to relate that to the daily cost of ESO Plus.

To be fair you do come across pretty hostile, you had a point about people if they were that intense but now I'm wondering.....
