@Khenarthi
Can I enquire if you play on PC or console?
PC EU. I'm 35, I meet some people who are older or younger but even the younger ones seem to be at least 20.
As I suspected... Just *another* reason for me to consider moving to PC

I dunno, apparently cheat engine is a big problem over there that and they have some addon called miats or something that really pisses everyone off.
also speaking from personal experience switching from console to pc for certain games doesn't mean the communities are going to be any different. They can be justs as bad as the one you moved from.

I used to play on PC-NA, and honestly it’s worlds apart social-wise than console (PS4-NA). People that I’ve met on PC were way more: Polite, respectful, and just overall more mature. However! The rampant usage of combat add-ons in PvP, and things like macro and CE made me focus strictly on console. Especially after putting up with the bs for so long.
So basically, I made the decision to swap a dramatically superior social experience, with a much more barebones and filtered gameplay experience. Absolutely worth the complete transition.
Though low-key, I do miss not having to Google or YouTube the locations of things like skyshards and lorebooks. >_>

A kid (of 13!) has recently joined our guild. He joins every trial, every party, every conversation. He's not the only one, they're everywhere.
Do other adults get frustrated with the presence of kids in ESO or am I particularly intolerant?
Reframe the issue,
you are an adult, and the potential for a positive influence,
for an individual in a setting where they actively want to be
you have more of an opportunity to reach them with a positive message
than most of the adults 'forced' to deal with them in their day-to-day lifehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxsOVK4syxU
Opted for medical sterilization so as to avoid the possibility of having kids of my own
potentially hate children more than you
Except that it's not her job. People come here to unwind and play, not to tutor others.
This kind of applies to life in general, not specifically video games, but this whole "Not my job/responsibility" mentality is an issue in the world. Bystander effect, herd mentality, a good number of people grow up having things handed to them, watching the world operate without their input, and end up with the idea that "somebody else will do that".
We're all part of the same world, somebody should step up and invest in it if they intend on leaving the world a better place.
We're individuals, yes. We're also one big old village.
These children inherit the world in a generation or two, when we might be dead. Mine hasn't even done that yet. Think about it.
It's not your job, but people should aspire to more than what falls under their personal sphere, for their sake and their beneficiaries.
Fair point. Let me rephrase what I said. Parents today DON'T care enough to raise a decent human being that will have a chance at having a good life. You send your kids into a random kindergarten, where they will be watched over and impressed by random people you don't know anything about. Then, you send your kids to the closest public school, where they will be tutored and taught by bitter people, who don't feel good about themselves and don't shy away from putting it all out on kids in various ways, known as public school teachers. You don't care who your kids hang out with, that they play games that are known to be full of the worst kind of immature adults, who basically don't know what to do with their lives and waste it in video games.
But sure, a random stranger, like me, can suddenly make all of this right, if only I could approach your kid the right way. Is that it?
I hate kids

My biggest issue with kids these days is that they dont seem to have learned the same boundries / social skills we learned as kids. But then again, in our days (I feel really old now lol) there werent any MMO's or internet. Let alone computers.
