✭Yeah, as powerful as the destro ult is, the cost is too high for me. I prefer the Ice Comet over it for my mag toons, since the cost is much lower. Also, must be a bug or somethng, but with a certain mag toon, the cost of the destro ult is stuck at 250, even with the Mage guild passive and other majicka-based passives that reduce the cost of majicka-based abilities. Well, another thing to be nerfed.. what a crying shame. It should be criminal! However, an Ice Comet with a cost of 192, yeah, it's a bit more attractive to slot than the destro ult. -

Oh, smack it, you're right.. my bad; braincramped. @Qbiken, thanks for pointing it out. I got Meteor jumbled within somehow.
Yeah, still can't figure out why, though, for certain mag toons, it's still costing the max of 250; whereas, it's 213 for another. I'm not using any 5-piece that reduces the ult cost. So, I take it the cost reduction of majicka-based abilities that certain class have (or with the LA passive) doesn't really affect the ultimate, then.. or does it? Even for a Meteor's morph, the base cost is 200, but one of my toon is 192 and another at 170, but others are still at 200. I'm not complaining of the cost reduction for the certain toons, but why the difference in cost for certain mag toons. Anyways, the lower cost of the Ice Comet or Shooting Star is what attracted me to slot it over the Elemental Rage and its morph. Now, since it will be nerfed, it's all the better to stick with the Meteor's morphs. -

Lob it on like 3 people that don't know what it is and watch it kill a zerg. Although must admit only way that works is if you are able to do it by surprise or are high enough so they don't see you easily and they are more focused on ground floor stuffs.Ärmätèsz

BSW has an advantage of spike damage which is heavily favored in PvP, but there are risks ofc.
