Nerf to bombers FYI

There were bombers before EotS and there will be bombers after EotS. ZOS giveth and ZOS taketh away, but the bomb abideth.

Also with the band aid fix on Clever Alchimist bombers have been heavily nerfed. Starting combat before bombing is stupid and will have the majority buffing as the combat audio cue kicks in.

It is all about zerging now - Join one or be farmed

Solo bombing not possible, sure, but who bombing with a tank e teeing the fray and putting the magvlade in combat first definitely is.

Troll tank wades into group, magvlade sweeps an up.

Yeah everyone flips out, but there is always a way. So you need 2 people to take out 30 instead of 1, but adapt and survive

ugh, I got caught yesterday hacking away at some stupid tank while I got bombed from behind

amazingly enough though - I don't feel compelled to blame zos for getting caught with my back turned...

Edit: full disclosure - I got a couple of tanks (dang sure not unkillable though) too...and, yeah - nothing brings quite the joy of holding a few players attention while someone comes along to wipe them

So having an enemy go into the fray and having everyone buff up works best?. I would disagree. This would spread out the majority of groups and have them buff, which would definitely make bombing harder/impossible.

Never got annoyed by bombers who used EotS, but those guild groups spam it are differend thing lol.

One of my most memorable moments in eso was tanking a group of 6 "elite" players on a DK while my wife bombed them on her mageblade and got a clean wipe. It was the first time we'd pvp' together, made 200k AP each in ~3 hours that night

Would rather: "you cannot gap close while using Eye of the Storm" or "reverted Eye of the Storm to PTS damage model of 10 seconds" be implemented.

ahh, but the troll tank will not require them to defensively buff. You get someone that does no damage but is a rock. Everyone will blow thier load trying to kill him, they are not worried about barriers and blocking, they are bloodthirsty to kill the player foolish enough to enter their zerg domain.

While they are busy with this distraction, bombblade does their thing.

The point is, you may have to get clever to use clever alchemist.

Thing is, for a good bomber all you need is a few idiot pugs to die to wipe most of a group.

Bombing mostly works because of VD and Proxy Det.

Fasalla's Guile, Durok's Bane and Iron Blood sets sound interesting with your strategy. Throw in Mighty Chudan, Blood Spawn or Earthgore set and it'll be fun.

a) The nerf to CA hurts bombers who ran CA and VD together but it doesn't mean the end of solo bombing (VD can still be paired with other very good bombing sets).

b) Tether-bombing is still a thing - the EotS nerf doesn't hurt that one bit for solo NB bombers.

c) The nerf to EotS doesn't hurt group bombers (add 1 more bomber and you now have more DPS than before).

yes plz hate getting gapclosespsmmed out of stealth with destro ult while in a 1vs1 with someone else killed the guy I was 1vs1 ing but then died in the destro ult ticking 5k/second(I have 23k physikal, 2.8k crit resistance)

Solo bombers are very easy to avoid and kill, but organised guilds which just running around with EotS are really annoying and this nerf is really nice step.

But yea, Spinner and Warmaiden might do the thing. Might actually ditch a full monster helmet set as well. Go with Dominous and Kena will probably be a good setup

Also dont forget that solo destro bombers can also wear bsw for flame damage boost, so ye that 12% isnt really a big deal
