You are asking in the wrong place, almost everyone on these forums is angry for some reason. This is a place for outrage not for appreciating the game, so a poll like that will always have the same outcome.

Actually you are wrong. There are much more fanboys out here who will auto-vote yes. If you'd make same thread during 1T i'm sure you would had results 80+% positive

I have no problem with content difficulty, however another dungeons/raids difficulty with extra mechanics would be a very good choice for those who want to test their char limits, i know there is hm for last boss, however i am speaking with difficulty of the entire instance.

My main problem with the whole games content is how there is no sense of progression and unrewarding the content feels.

Im mostly annoyed that most of the classes are moving towards being the same. Buff, dot, dot, attack, attack, throw in some H. Attacks.

I mean I get it, it is far easier to balance if stam classes use the same weapons and mag are all funneled into certain staff skills, but it gets really boring to play.

And yes I know I could run some lesser build so I could be a special snow flake but I’m trying to actually play better.

I don't have any issues with lag, if that's what you mean...

Apart from that PvE endgame is heading in a wrong direction if you ask me. Mechanics are getting easier with every new dungeon or trial, instead we get more and more unavoidable debuffs/damage and incoming damage gets higher. It's somewhat frustrating and doesn't reward skill.

All you do with loot apart from a few sets is deconstruct, since everything is bind on pickup. Nothing about it feels rewarding and there is zero excitement.

Balancing is totally ***** at the moment with around half of the possible classes being utterly useless. Go stam or go home.

The heavy attack meta is very boring and slow, but in my opinion the bigger problem is that it destroys build diversity. The sustain nerf changed nothing for PvE DPS. We still have high DPS and endless sustain, but the rotations are simply dumbed down to a point were it is barely fun anymore.

Performance at the moment is horrible, especially in a trial setting. Sustain is horrible. It favors a heavy attack playstyle which is just plain out boring. And lastly the endgame seems wrong. The game lacks something to keep players engaged and interested.

I log on wondering to myself why am I doing this? I've completed all trials with the exception of vHoF and I've completed every dungeon. I have nothing to work towards. vHoF is not something I have to work towards. My gear and dps is good. It's more of an issues of finding enough people who want to spend the time and gold learning it.

Give me a reason to want to log on everyday!

I'm more on the fence with this. Yeah, been crappy with continuous lagging, crashing, blue screens, whatever, bug galore, toon getting stuck somewhere/somehow, from time to time, and having to port to a wayshrine to get unstuck; however, there are times when things are going smooth. There are times when combat mechanics are smooth, but there are also times when it is not. There have been times when you pressing to swap weapon, but it doesn't swap; same with pressing for a skill. It may not work at all (misfire), or delayed, then popping off a sec, two or three later; which totally messes up your rotation. All nerfing to toons and abilities haven't improved me much as a fan of ESO, ZOS or Bethesda either. Yeah, oh.. whatever you want to call it; nerfing is for balance. However, it is balancing crap for PvE. Fine, PvP, perhaps, but toons and abilities are much weaker for PvE, while enemies and bosses are packing much more heat. Ok, yeah, it's a bit more challenging. Ehh, whatever.. game on; play or don't play.

It's a poorly optimised game. It's no secret. Most MMOs are though and that's not about to change. The only way to fix it would be to remake the entire game with a different engine.

if only they would use the engine used for Doom... just think about it...dx12 support... :3 but idk...I think I read a post somewhere that they will implement DX12 support soon...and it might fix most of stuff...or make it worst...idk

actually the 1 shot mechanics are what makes the game spicy...it means u need to focus...is not smt like "u gona die no matter what" besides instead of complaining how about you try to comprehend the stuff? yes is frustrating and pissing at 1st...but once u get hang of it...there is actually no way doing it without :3
I agree with the fact that there are so many sets in the game and so few are utilized, however the balance in the game right now is quite solid...at least from NB perspective...( I don't play anything else sry..) is quite solid...no matter what you use the outgoing dps and performance is pretty much the same...so that's awesome since u can go with "this is bis and rest is ***" you can just pick the setup you like the most and suits your playstyle...

I became unhappy with the direction ESO took almost a year ago. Stopped playing. Three characters at level 40. Idling.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

    No.

The one-shot mechanics seem like a really cheap-shot way to make the game "more challenging." It's just not, especially when you have a character build that's worked well all along until one boss massively exploits one minor weakness and turns it into a one-shot. It often unbalances what was a nice, challenging difficulty slope in a quest. In my experience, it was aggravated by the heavy attack emphasis. OK, so a boss has a high percentage chance of one-shotting you... OK, then go for attacks with high DPS -- but nope! This boss is buffed against them and you HAVE to go with more heavy attacks, which are slower and vastly increase the chance of getting one-shotted because of minions, debuffs, or just lag. It isn't fun. It isn't "play as you like" the way One Tamriel is promoted. It doesn't fit with the scaling behavior in One Tamriel.

The worst part is that there's no rhyme or reason to where it pops up. A bunch of various related or unrelated quests can all be fine; if the boss takes you out with ease it's clearly because you weren't paying attention. But then you run into one -- a regular quest boss, not a world boss or super-difficult trophy boss in a delve -- that's just out-of-proportion -- over-buffed and has way too much one-shot potential. It feels bugged. when you play against it. It's not an epic battle anymore, it's like fighting against a player who's using cheats.

These are the following things that you have to do on Xbox One before a trial:
    - Disable numbers and percentages
    - Disable all sound
    - Disasble quest trackers and markers
    - Disable combat text
    - Take off all collectibles
    - Put on a polymorph such as a Skeleton or Xivkyn
    - Restart the game once inside the instance

This is what our Guild Message of the day looks like (well, there's also the french translations, but whatever).

This pretty much ensures that you won't get dashboarded, that you won't freeze, that you won't get a massive latency spike that disconnects you and that you get decent FPS values. So there is a way to have a more or less smooth experience during a trial (unless of course your connection is terrible).

But what's the point of having buff trackers (which are terribly designed by the way) or damage numbers or health % if you have to disable all of that in a trial? There isn't even any sound. You can't even see your character since you have to have a polymorph (why? because the skeleton doesn't blink or do any other tiny little animations thus slightly improving FPS). We are literally running trials blind just for the sake of having a smooth experience. And yet, in certain fights you still get massive FPS drops.

In vMA its slightly less extreme: you can keep the sound, the health numbers on and you don't have to have a skeleton or take off collectibles. You still have to restart the game once inside the instance.

So while there is a way to have a smooth PvE experience, its sadening that we have to go such great lengths to ensure it (and it sometimes doesn't work too).

-Terrible RNG (I know we'll be able to change traits in Clockwork City but that's not out yet and I want my sets)
-I locked my FPS to 30 so I don't really have to deal with lag often (but yeah, the optimization seems to be getting worse every update. I used to get a steady 80 FPS on higher settings, NA PC user)
-I don't mind the one hit kill mechanics from bosses, but we should be able to adjust the yellow/red lines around the boss. they're really thin for me and it's hard to notice even if I am focusing. At the very least it could use it's own graphics slider
-Enemy AoE indicators could be a more noticeable red. They're kind of a dull red making it hard to see when there's a lot of effects on screen
-Terrible sustain. Never ending fights were bad, but completely killing cost reduction wasn't the right thing to do. You went to the other extreme so now sustain is complete crap and heavy attacks aren't fun to use. Having to completely stop our rotation to use a bunch of heavy attacks to replenish mag/stam is completely focus breaking. Should've just reduced how much cost reduction the CP system gave.
-Make stamina more fun to play. Having to use the same weapon skills just isn't fun. Every good stam build is DW and Bow with the same DPS skills It's pretty much just the poison arrow skill>Rending Slashes>spamming Rapid Strikes. 2H skills are powerful but really slow and inefficient. The gap closer is pretty much useless in PvE because you have to be so far away to deal decent damage. Wrecking Blow takes 2s to use so it's easily out damaged.
-A lot of long loading screens when using wayshrines in popular areas. I really don't want to wait 3+ minutes to go from one dolmen to the next. Or god forbid have to wait or restart the game just to turn in a quest.

-I do like the dungeon difficulties though. Normal dungeons are easy enough that casual players can do them, and veteran dungeons are challenging enough that they're more enjoyable but no so challenging that dying feels cheap.

ESO has a community? I always thought all those other people are just smart A.I programmed to stand in red carpet half the time, not do mechanics when they are at cp over 900, and spout out varying yet poetic lines such as "git gud" "stupid tank" "stupid healer" "I have more cp than you, I can stand in fire" "I qued as tank for faster que...dont need tank git gud" and my personal favorite "You took my sweet roll" and that all the bitching and moaning and screaming on this board is for our disappointment over this single player game.

Oh I had no idea it was an mmo, it all just looked like single player content coming out.

I mean, sure sometimes I get lag.
For instance, yesterday we cleared up vSO (for the first time!! ) but during the whole raid (about 2h, we were progressing) 3 people went offline due to performance issues and lag (and general issues with the game). I was one of them. In my case, I got a neverending loading screen.

These issues did not affect THAT much our raid but of course the performance needs to improve. Overall though, I am very happy with how both PVP and PVE work. And I play with a laptop...

I think it also depends on the hardware. But when you're at or above the recommended specs you really shouldn't have to deal with the framerate jumping around so much. It seems to get worse every major update too. Back before the Thieves Guild I was getting a steady 80 FPS on higher settings. It slowly got lower but it was still stable and I could expect at least a steady 60~. Come One Tamriel it went to ***. Now I play on medium with my framerate locked at 30 just to avoid lag.

    3. Overland content is too easy - you can easily kill mobs with spamming 1 skill, enemies from quests are also too easy to kill. They should buff all enemies in all zones to make us be more careful when we are travelling through different lands, and force us to prepare for every fight.

    Basically this.
For example, it used to be that I took my time going through a delv one eye on resources one on the next mob set. I would have to learn how that delv boss worked and perhaps expect to die once or twice before sorting things out.
Now, I admit I have learned more about the game, I find the delvs much less of a challenge.

But 12 mb and 2 Mb up is supposedly good me thinks. (ZOS won't say) also 200 ping EU. NA unsure. Won't let me test but same problem. I wish I know more about PvE, most of stuff I'm unable to do. But I do like the PvE quests.

Yes and no, but more leaning towards "no".

    - Overland / quest / non group delve NPCs are way too easy. I apply 2 DoTs and a whole spawn is dead. I mean, I should put down 4 DoTs but that happens only on bosses, the rest die too fast.

In 2014, difficulty was OK. Pull 2 NPCs = ok. Pull 3 = challenging. Above 3 = death.
In 2014, defeating Molag Bal = mildly challenging. Now, any vegetable can kill this oh-so-supreme daemon.

    - 2005 style loot RNG. Y-A-W-N. Give me some damn purpose. I prefer doing 20 runs acquiring "weapon pieces" that FOR SURE will result in my weapon made.
STOP with the ABOMINATION: "100 arena runs and all I got to show is that decisive trait piece of garbage".
Same for monster sets: witness all your guild mates, then friends, then friends of their friends, then Donald Trump and the Pope get the headpiece dropped EXCEPT you, still stuck on "sturdy" trait light headpiece when you wanted divines and heavy.

    - Heavy attack too prevalent. Want to be able to do content? Slowpoke your way out and yawn.

    - Animation cancelling: I totally understand it's basically the only way in ESO to not fall asleep at the keyboard. But I don't like it. I'd like a fast(er) paced combat where you don't look like an innatural 6 arms Kali goddess. That is, you spit fire AND eat a snack AND wield a shield AND dual wield (!) (apparently) in the same millisecond. Total immersion disruption, in a MMO where players cannot even choose their colors because it'd impair the atmosphere and the history setting.

    - Considering the lack of solo challenging content, I loved the original ESO outworld bosses, most of them can be soloed, some require good play. Newer bosses are not smarter. They just get slapped hugetons of HP and spawn 7500 adds. That's it. Good luck doing "Accursed nursery" (Wrothgar) and similar, even in prime time you find little to nobody to do them.

    - Craglorn: I had everything done, then ZOS reset the whole zone to everybody. Since then, I just can't find anyone, even in my own guilds, willing to do those "events" with a caster that needs to be defended by incoming sand sword masters, archers and gargoyles. No incentive? I don't know. But I managed to solo everything else (solo and group content) except these, too many adds coming from different directions to manage to kill them all before they nuke the summoner.

    - furniture: am I the only one who finds it ... peculiar, how building an IKEA wardrobe from scratch is probably going to cost more (and take a lot longer!) than your ultra-legendary-gods-killer gear?

There is simply nothing to do in PVE after you done with farming gear and undaunted. Vet trials? Why? Well, maybe some people finding it fun to do, so as leaderboards, but I see no point there for mediocre player beside just farming some gear again.

One of the few content I really like is vDSA and DLC dungeons with rewards like skins/costumes/pets. This is truly cool, challenging, however again, the moment I got all of this things I'm never stepping back.
