Nearest Wayshrine to a Stables

This may sound silly but sometimes I want to just log on to my alts to train their ridding skill and they are out on adventures somewhere, sometimes with a BOUNTY! Does anyone know for sure the closest Stables to any way shrine in the game?

Thanks in advance.

Vulkhel Guard is easiest location I can think of. The wayshrine and stables are just a couple of steps away from each other.

You also want an wayshrine with no guards nearby
think Vulhel Guard (not skyreach) in Ardudeen would work its very close, but you need to pass the wayshrine to don't get an 10 second logout cooldown.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Vulhel Guard and Stormhold are both really close to the wayshrine.

Also Vivec is close to WS.

But for base game, Vulkhel Guard and Stormhold as mentioned already.

If your concerned about the Bounty aspect, then Hollow City is the place to go.

These. The Stables are literally staring the Wayshrines in the face.

Velyn harbor is close to both stables and an outlaw refuge. Where I usually go when I have "borrowed lots of things and might have been seen" easy to get to the refuge undetected.

Stormhold, Shadowfen ya, a nice place, not that crowded. I like it there.

Both of these are pretty far from the stable.

It doesn't get any closer than these 2, not unless there's a wayshrine inside a stables somewhere.

If you use Stormhold you'll have to put up with that vile Nord spouting about the "giant Argonian dung pile" every five minutes :s

If you go to Vulkhel Guard you have to dodge that Khajeet who keeps throwing buckets of water over the wayshrine.

    The choice is yours.

If you want a safe wayshrine that you don't have to worry about guards go to Cyrodiil or Cold Harbour.

Coldharbor will only have stables if you've completed the main story line on the character. Otherwise it'll just be a desolate city with no vendors.

I've never noticed that. I will have to go check that out.

But yes, stormhold is your best bet. Shrine, stables AND crafting writ turn in all close together (once the new DLC comes out and they open up global writ hand-ins).

All you have to do is take the tour with the Groundskeeper (or at least talk to her) and then basic services are opened in the city. Not sure if the stables are part of the basic services or not. I will have to see on a mule tonight.

Thanks you guys are great, I think Shadowfen is best to avoid guards and lag but cyrodiil is a great idea too.

The stablemaster NPC doesn't show up if you haven't done any of the quests. My crafter who used to turn in writs there can verify that.

Vulkhel Guard and Vivec city. The stable is literally 2 steps away from the wayshrine.

Vivec City might be the best one. I was alluding to that one when I mentioned Vvardenfell.

It's literally like, 20 yards to the stablemaster.

And of course Vivec City has all other services right next to the wayshrine as well (bank, all crafting stations, guild traders). It's basically Rawl'kha but without all the crashing due to instance being full.
