BUG - Weird Auto Movement

After visiting the Forbidden Tunnel (crafting station) in the Brass Fortress, while fighting, character went haywire, and began auto moving around. All my commands seemed to have gone kaput. Such as trying to move forward called my horse, trying to move back dismounted me, running in odd directions, no control over movements or abilities. Reloading UI and Zoning did not fix the problem. As of this writing, my newly created test character is swimming for Oblivion near Elden Root.

I know this is the first test run, just wanted to give a heads up.

    1) Try pressing the auto-run command to deactivate it.
    2) Disconnect your mouse and see if that stops it. Reconnect if not.
    3) Disconnect your keyboard and see if that stops it. Reconnect if not.
    4) Disconnect any gamepad and see if it stops.

I bet you have something sending commands to your game like that. If you haven't at least tried those then you really can't be sure it isn't one of them.

I have that occasionally in Cyrodiil as well. Dodge rolling or a channeled heavy attack fixes it most times.

Thanks Mystrius. I did do all of those things. As for a gamepad, I don't use one, so that's a no go.

I tried those as well. Thank you for the advice friends. I'll keep testing to see if I can figure out what's happening.

The inner machinations of Clockwork City has given your character a sense of self-awareness and they wanted to be released from the shackles of the third person camera.
