How to get I get out of a main quest that I cannot win? It's game over for me!

Main Quest: Talk to Abnur Tharn. I cannot beat Mannimarco. Therefore, I cannot complete this quest. I have already died 10-times. So, how do I get out of the quest and get back to Daggerfall? Otherwise, it is game over for me. I will lose everything. There is no way to transfer my stuff....stuff that I purchased with real money..... to a different character. Can someone please help?

Why do u have to reset quest? Why not just figure out how to kill him?

Have you tried turning off and turning on your computer. Or the game anyway.

Travel to any wayshrine via map. Or log off you will be taken out of location after some time offline

If you are attacking Mannimarco you are doing it wrong. Kill the adds that spawn...after a few (I think 4) spawns Abnur wins that dual and move along.

Have you looked for guides in YouTube? That instant death should be avoidable somehow.

We'll need a lot more information if you want help defeating Mannimarco. Class, level, gear, skills etc. For starters, in the top right corner of your character sheet, how many stars are lit up to show the adequacy level-wise of your gear?

Sounds like your items are broken, but from a reply above you can teleport out, however it sounds like there is more to this that isn't being communicated clearly in your OP and comments.

-What have you tried and what was the outcome of each method?
-What level and class are you?
-What level is each item you're wearing?
-What items are broken?

First things I would do is make sure you have food up and potentially upgraded gear. But if you just want to get out of there and try again some other time, go to your map and use a wayshrine to go somewhere else. There is no risk of just being stuck there for the rest of time.

Yeah, that's how I died a couple of times and wonder what happened. Stay in the middle, don't leave the ring.

Otherwise even if you can't do this fight your character is not lost nor anything else. What stuff that you purchased for real money are you concerned about?

There's a magical wall that kills anything that walks in to it. You should remain closer to the center, where Mannimarco's projection is.

Stand close to the center and you will avoid the insta death knock-back.

I was on that quest once when I quit the game by accident. When I logged back in, I had to start all over again from the Harborage. That will at least give you the chance to check your gear and replace it if you need to. Also, dying that much is hard on your gear. Make sure you have some repair kits on hand.

You have to be pretty close to him and the center of room, ts an circular area you have to be inside or you die, its pretty hard to see, its an circular decoration on floor but think kill wall is a bit inside this.

And I died a lot here on second character who was cp300 or something

Kill the spawning skeletons they are easy to kill but you might want some healing. but most important stay close to center

Don't run around too far away from him (like everyone said there's a circle limit outside of it = instant death), kill the adds he spawns and don't bother with him until you're told he's vulnerable - only then attack him, and he basically runs away.

This is one of those fights where you have to get up close and personal. There's no way to stay ranged and kite him since the invisible wall of death around the "arena" will insta-gib you.

If you're referring to the cirular room with the graveyard-ish feel (with Mannimarco on a pedestal in the middle and skeletons spawning at the edges, moving towards you) then do not leave the circle! There's an invisible barrier that will insta-kill you as soon as you try to cross it.

witjh my 30 lvl templar, i took out manny in 2 mins. with 2-handed.
recommended magic siphon vamp ability that refill partly for magic, stam, and some health.
plague doctor set.

OP so you know any mounts, pets or cosmetics purchased through the crown store are available on all your characters on your current platform/server.

I had no idea that idea about the wall. Anyway, I got out of the quest. Honestly, I am thinking seriously of starting a new character. As I have stated in other threads I have played ESO since I beta tested it. I forgot everything that I knew. I want to become a Breton Magicka Sorceress. And, I don't mind starting over again, but it is all too confusing on how to setup both bars. Now I have had others show me what I need on both bars, but it seems takes a lot of levels to get to that point.

Now that I have a little better understanding of the game by playing through some of it. I also got to liking using the bow,
along with the staff. But the bow consumes stamina. How do balance both magicka and stamina together?

One thing is certain, however, I love my Breton Sorceress.

Yes, but what about all of the stuff that I purchased from the store that is in my bag. I hate to lose it because some it is very important for leveling up and staying relatively alive.....

while any soul gems, food, poisons and potions you have from the crown store are great for getting you started, and loosing them would be terrible, all of those items can be easily acquired in game.
so going forward learn to craft for yourself or find a way to make enough money in game to buy the items from a trader.
if you join a guild you will often find they have dedicated crafters who will not only help players level their crafting but help people out with affordable consumables to get them started

there are even in-game versions of XP scrolls this may or may not be relevant to you
