Yeah, if you don't get the quest at the start of the dungeon, you can't complete it.I know what you mean guys, the other day i did a dungeon with random group, was the first time for me (one about pirates, starts in a boat and coast, dont remember the name ) but the group went by a secondary way, ignoring a couple of mobs groups to kill, and the npc Who gives the quest... When we finished, one of the group went afk and i was able to visit dungeon with calma and tried to get the quest or something.
I was stunned about the Great details of the dungeon, that i lose because People go so so fast, and when i arrive to the npc who has the quest, he gave me nothing... And i cant get my npc reward
It's a stupid design in my opinion, I see no point of this mechanic. And it also caused some annoying and unnecessary issues, sometimes I don't even have time to turn in the quest!
We should not waste someone's time just because this section of game is badly designed. If ZOS has put so much time and efforts into creating all those quest lines, they should let us have enough time to solo listen all of them when others left the group. ZOS knows about the issues described above and should work for the solution.Ep1kMalware wrote: »Maybe you could stop being an antisocial twit and use the provided text chat to ask someone to stay.

In guild runs it works yes, while not in most the pugs. Some groups are not interested in communication and stay silent when asked. I had plenty of such pugs.Ep1kMalware wrote: »It's GROUP content, you shouldn't need to be held at gunpoint and forced into working with other people. Rather than demanding changes that could cause months worth of bugs maybe you can try the simple task of communication.

Some solution is to remove the quests from dungeons completely - problem solved.

Even when you click through the dialogue as fast as possible, sometimes you still don't have time to finish it before you're booted. They need to at least lengthen the time it takes to get booted.
so you want to destroy the only way to reset a dungeon and be able to farm ... just because you don't have time to spam E for a quest ?
