Should ZOS add an additional free crown crate to the ESO+ Package?

Because there are people who have not subbed, no longer sub, but have played for a long time, and probably spent quite a lot on crowns to shop in the store. I'm quite sure there are people who have played since the game went B2P, which was in early 2015 I believe.

Either way, they have spent quite a bit of either time and money, or both, supporting the game. Why should they not be acknowledged as loyal supporters?

The people who subbed for a long time from the beginning actually do have an item that acknowledges they were loyal supporters. I have one; the striped senche/tiger mount. I also have the loyalty pets they handed out that I'll never use.

As long as they kept the same requirement [for the tiger it was 300 days subbed, iirc] I would have no problem with them restarting the loyalty reward program. But not if the reward has anything to do with the rngesus boxes.

But the other person basically said people who did not or do not sub wouldn't be considered "loyal"

There are probably people who play this game that have spent more on crowns than I have on two subs and extra crown packs over the last three years and continue to do so. I don't see why they shouldn't be considered supporters of the game. And loyal at that, if they continue to pay.
That's all I was trying to say.

I absolutely agree on not rewarding anyone with gamble crates.

I am an ESO Plus member, if I was given free stuff I wouldn't say no to it because I am already paying a lot for additional crowns, that's why I voted in favor. But I'd rather have more crowns or a small permanent discount (5-10%) on all the Crown Store while my sub is active.

Add Crown Gems to ESO+

This would bypass the gamble crate to get gems situation, yet still allow members to choose from most* of the crown crate content.

• Without the risk of valueless junk consumables.
• Excluding the crate exclusives.

Even with crown gems you'll still be excluded from some of its contents because of the "drop only" items from the crates as you can't buy them with gems and must gamble to have a chance to get those.

Its wrong that as paying subscribers are locked out of all those cosmetics because, most of us don't want to gamble.

Also, crown items keep getting more expensive so we could use some more monthly crowns too. Possibly 2000 instead of 1500?

I feel zero temptation to every buy a crown crate, but I do find them to be fun to open as freebies. It does add to the value equation for the sub.

I'm somewhere between "sure" and "I don't care". As I said in the other thread, I don't think it would encourage more people to subscribe, nor would it encourage more people to buy crates. I think the people inclined to do either one, are already doing so.

This one never wanted the crates in Tamriel. As an honest merchant this one she believes in knowing exactly what you buy before you loosen your purse strings. No one should have to gamble repeatedly for the small chance of getting the thing they wish to purchase.

I thought we essentially received crowns equal in value to our subscription rate.

Also, besides the mundane ESO+ perks such as bonus XP and shortened research time that only newer players really need, I thought double bank space and virtually bottomless crafting bag were significant perks.

How much more are you willing to spend on your sub to get that additional crowns or a measly crate? I do not see a reasonable path to expect Zos to add any of that without making other changes, increased price, remove crafting bag or something.

I vote no. I do not want to give up the crafting bag or extra bank space. Probably really just entitlement. Certainly a horrid idea to toss in an extra crown crate.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't implement this immediately when the crate system was released. It was around the same time they were asking the community how they could increase the value of ESO+

It can be a very desirable addition, I say. It even can encourage me to buy a 3 month subscription for 2.5k+ rubles.

Just one crown crate a month is ridiculously stingy. If it were three, maybe, it might encourage more subscribers.
I'd still rather just have extra crowns, though. Then again, they don't put a whole lot in the store any more to spend those crowns on.

The correct answer for me would have been "Dont care", cause up to now i didnt find anything in the apex-rewards i wanted to have, thus didnt buy a crowncrate. Additionally, on the free ones, well i got 72 free crystals and a creepy pet that will stay in the collectibles and never see daylight....

If they add a free crowncrate, well i'll take it sure. I'd prefer to get more usefull boni tho, like craftbag, double bank, double houseslots and so on.

As it is, u get 1,2k crowns. A crowncrate is 400, id be very unhappy to get 800 crowns and a free crate instead. (I read the post, i know u dont want that aswell, just repeating that very important point, that id be very unhappy)
