I've been struggling for a Warden build and ended up seeing this video.... Is this legit? He claims upwards of 80k DPS... That seems far fetched to me...

I'd love some suggestions for what I could do. Different build suggestions that I can copy then tweak perhaps... I have the Warden and he's just been sitting there... Not in use because I never could figure out how...

I built a PvE DPS Warden for you.

Gear:
Helmet + Shoulder = Valkyn Skoria
Dual Wield (Sword/Dagger main, Axe offhand) + Bow + Chest, Leg, Feet = Hunding's Rage
Glove, Belt, 3x Accessories = Your preference, but I recommend either Spriggan, Draugr Hulk, Automaton, Toothrow, Viper's Sting or Twice Fanged Serpent (hardest to get).

Traits:
Infused on weapons, Divine on armors.

Glyphs:
Weapons: Weapon/Magic dmg on main hand, Absorb stamina on off hand, Oblivion dmg on Bow
Accessories: 1 stamina recovery glyph + weapon dmg glyphs
Armors: Stamina on all

Gameplay

Bull Netch + Ice Fortress = Stamina restore + Major Brutality/Sorcery + Major Resolve/Ward + Minor Protection. Lasts 24/21 seconds respectively.

Camouflaged Hunter = Major Savagery. You can slot Green Lotus instead but in practice you have too many buffs as a Warden and not having to buff Major Savagery is a big plus for me. The heal you get from Green Lotus is nice but you won't benefit too much from it while weaving light attacks. It's more suitable for tanks/healers especially if their CP is invested toward healing.

Bird of Prey = Minor Berserk + Major Endurance + Major Expedition. Only lasts 10 seconds but it's extremely useful buff especially when you need to move your ass away from red circles.

Rapid Strikes = Spammable. You can use Cutting Dive instead but Rapid Strikes will give you better burst.

Subterranean Assault = Major Fracture + big AoE DPS. Thing hits like a truck but has a time delay.

Flawless Dawnbreaker, Poison Injection Razor Caltrops, Deadly Cloak, Arctic Blast = Your dots to proc Valkyn Skoria + Passive damage increase + execution skill + survivability. I find Deadly Cloak especially useful as a squishy DPS.

Healing Thicket = Will get you out of almost any situation.

On armors you can mix them up but I always like grouping Chest, Leg and feet together for outward appearance. If you're wearing a costume it doesn't matter. You can also go infused on big pieces and use Tri-glyph for more overall stats but that's my personal preference and will hurt your DPS a little bit in exchange for more health/magicka.

Thank you for the build, I had a feeling it was going to be similar to be StamSorc as far as gear. She has the exact same armor pieces(using Spriggans) but uses Stormfist for the lightning proc and stam recovery.

Also I agree with the pieces... I ended up doing minotaur style chest legs and feet... Aaaaand of course hid the head lol

I like that editor because it shows you the stats. I should use it more often. Not sure if that PC distribution is ideal though.. but it can easily be changed so I guess just go with what you like?

The CP distribution you mean? What would you recommend? I just did whatever gave me the best effective weapon power, but I'm open to suggestions

He has this issue sometimes, with me included. I have to use Firefox to save my builds. I get the Error with Chrome and sometimes IE. @Reorx_Holybeard

Interesting. I'll have to try it out. I'm only at 500 or so CP so I can just pull some points out of each. It seems much like a StamSorc but with different forms of skills more or less. I just started my StamSorc and getting used to it still. Been playing a MagSorc pet build since I started.

MagSorc pet build is the first character I created.. I couldn't enjoy it and ended up deleting her. Then I created her again just because MagSorc is powerful. She's now geared with Netch + Necro but I never play her Didn't even bother golding the staves..

My current is 2 Ilambris, 4 Moondancer, 5 Necro all golded out. I like it but it's a ton more AoE damage than the StamSorc

You can use other sets, but that's something I prefer because I like meteor shower.

Gotcha. Any particular 1 piece trait to look for? Or the monster set for that particular build is just preference?

I typically go with Molag Kena for 1 piece. I recommended 2 set because for PvE dual wield is good. If for PvP I would have recommended 2h + bow w/ Molag Kena 1 piece. Selene is also a good set for DPS by the way.

Sorry read that comment wrong and replied not making sense. Ha! Why is DW better for PvE? I've thought about the 2h because it has healing ability.. I think?

As a Warden you're definitely not going to need Rally. I mean, you can just heal. Rally is almost a requirement for PvP though, so if you're PvP'ing I highly recommend 2h. As for DW being better than 2h, it's mainly due to passive bonuses, the blade cloak, and most importantly being able to benefit from 2 piece monster bonus. Meteor shower!!!!

- Subterranean Assault = -5280 Physical/Magical Resistance
- Focused Aim = -1320 Physical Resistance
Total = -9180 Physical Resistance

2. You also provide 12% Stamina Regen to your party, up to 12 including yourself.

3. 10% Bonus damage to party when you interrupt with Venom Arrow

4. Aggressive Horn doesn't hurt

5. You can heal = Minor Lifesteal + Green Lotus + Budding Seeds + Soothing Spores + Healing Thicket

6. Plenty of sustain.

7. Self buffed = 2562 weapon damage, 60.6% weapon critical, 85% weapon critical damage

8. Major Resolve + Major Ward for the party, and Minor Protection for yourself.

9. You're a speedy

With this build if you're in a group tank would normally provide the -5280 to resistances, but not when you're solo'ing. Also the additional 2580+1320 resistance reduction on top of tank's 5280 is big.

That's crazy. It's amazing how you can just throw something together and it looks completely viable and really fun. Here's a question... would the Bow Healer be able to heal for End Game content just as(if not similarly) effectively as a Templar can?

Also @Megabear, is it possible for a different set other than Hircine to get better either damage or healing capability? I don't see a great benefit with Hircine's set(unless there is and I'm missing it, in which case please do tell!)

Thanks I don't believe the bow healer will be an effective trial healer, but definitely viable as a backup healer. The build is meant to be a DPS & healer hybrid, not a pure healer, so I wouldn't try anything too crazy! You may also have an issue with vet DLC dungeons, unless you have a really good party, but anything else should be fine. Also when line of sight is an issue (i.e. Darkshade II) I'd switch out Soothing Spores with Echoing Vigor instead.

As for Hircine set I think it's important to have as a healer, especially if you want to be part of a trial. Having that extra stamina recovery boost for 12 people is very attractive. As a healer you also want high regen anyway. But let's say you're in a 4 man setting, depending on the difficulty, you might be better off with a DPS set of choice.
